So here we are on May 31, 2021 and my AC went out once again. Four years ago I used "Be in Comfort HVAC", thankfully I retain his business card. It is Memorial Day and he came out within two hours and replaced my defective capacitor. Cost me $250, an additional hundred dollars more than four years ago, but taking into consideration it is a holiday and inflation, couldn't be any more pleased. He is polite, courteous and even though we are fully vaccinated (general chit chat) he adhere to PPE recommendations. Strong recommend.

We have used Be In Comfort two summers now when our AC unit is in need of Freon, we most likely have leaks but the fill up with sealant lasts us all summer. We appreciate their fast response, they replied and were out the next day to make sure our AC was blowing cold air again.. ahhhh.. feeling good! I recommend this company.

Updating my original review. As I said in my first review, I am grateful to Hormoz for coming out quickly and solving the problem with my a/c. Communication is key to me, as a consumer. Although there was a small hiccup in our initial communication, Hormoz saw my yelp review and followed up with me. He has made everything right and seems to be a fair, stand up business man.

Hermoz responded quickly and came out the next day to look at my AC unit after it stopped putting out cold air in the middle of this heatwave. He doesn't charge to come take a look which is super awesome. He knew right away what was wrong with it (it was super dirty) and suggested that if he were taking it apart any way to clean it he replace the fan since it was making a noise and would likely need to be replaced in the future. He ordered the part and was back the next day to fix it. Super friendly, excellent service. Reasonably priced. He even suggested something that I hadn't thought

Ugh last night my air conditioner stopped blowing cold air, not good especially since we're in triple digits for the next two days. I sent Be In Comfort a message first thing this morning, and Hormoz responded within minutes. He was out here by 1 and had my air conditioner running within 20-30 minutes. He was out here as soon as he could be, got the job done in a timely matter, and his pricing was on point!

I was looking for an a/c repair and I saw Be in Comfort here in yelp. I read all the reviews and was impressed so I gave him a call. I told him my a/c stopped working and set an appointment with him. I can not say enough about this company and the owner Hormoz! We have a rental property in Modesto and we have had AHS as the warranty company for 25 years. I was very dissatisfied with the service company that AHS sent out after the unit broke down. It was determined that we needed a new unit for the home and the company and AHS seemed to be hiding something about the cost when I asked for a break down of costs. I looked on yelp and inquired with three companies. The only one who responded quickly was Hormoz from Be in Comfort He was able to give me an estimate or/ guesstimate and was very straightforward

Our personal HERO! Our AC stopped working in the evening during a heatwave. After calling serval places (after hours) he was the first and only person to call me back. Not only did he show up 15 mins after we spoke, he also didn't charge us anything to diagnose the problem! He was able to fix the AC the very next day - which was 105 degrees! The quote he provided us was very reasonable. Very professional, knowledgeable, and kind. No words could ever express how thankful we are for getting the AC up and running in such a short amount of time.

My heater went out and after several attempts at me fixing it I went to yelp for a Heat and Air guy. Got responses for $75 just to come diagnosis it between 2-5.
Be in Comforts Hormoz responded with NO CHARGE to look at it. Gave him a call and he said he would be over in 20 min!! Took him about 23 min to figure out what the problem was. He went and got the part needed to fix it and was back in about 50 min. The place gave him the wrong part and he said they close in 30 min so wasn't sure if he could get the right part in time but would be back in the morning. I broke the news to my wife that

I chatted with Hormoz after he got done fixing the old AC, and he gave me some good tips for maintaining the AC myself. Well after suffering a week in the Central Valley 100 degree weather and to fix it myself (to my wives dismay), I learned that sometimes experts are worth their weight in gold. Thankfully the price was reasonable.
