Rubio Mechanical is a family-owned HVAC contracting business, founded in 2007 with the aim of solving our customers' heating, cooling and indoor air quality issues. We have had airflow issues in our home since we moved in, other companies we consulted only offered expensive estimates to replace our entire HVAC system. After 2 sleepless nights with an 80 degree bedroom, I called Rubio Mechanical. I had a technician dispatched within an hour of my call. Juan did a thorough inspection of our system, and went back and forth between every room adjusting vents and dampers and helping us find a solution to increase the return on the upper level of our home. Rubio Mechanical has a slogan: Honest Work at Reasonable Prices. Truth! My home heater is the original boiler system from the 1960s, so several companies offered a no-guarantee 1-time repair for several hundred dollars. Rubio Mechanical charged a fraction of the other estimates -- with a solid guarantee! Their work was so reliable that I never had to call-in that guarantee. Fixed -- quick and thorough. Juan also quickly fixed a few "red flags" that other companies warned me about such as the water pressure levels. I was also surprised that Juan did not charge for the travel time it took

Heat went out so we called to get the furnace fixed. While there was an HVAC tech here, I asked to have a new thermostat (Ecobee smart thermostat) installed.
Pros: They showed up fast and got the furnace working again. Bad pressure switch was the culprit.
Cons: They charged over $200 for a $17 pressure switch, and installed it before telling me the price. That's a huge markup! They also wanted to charge over $500 to install the thermostat. No thanks. So much for "honest service at fair prices".
I won't be using them again.

I had an issue with my A/C that was fixable. However, due to the age of my HVAC system, I asked Jorge at Rubio Mechanical to give me an estimate on replacing my entire system. He was very honest and thorough with the options available to me. The quote he provided was very reasonable. I decided to have the entire system replaced. They were prompt, courteous and efficient in completed the job. I would definitely recommend Rubio Mechanical!

I've worked with Rubio Mechanical twice now. Both times have gone well - especially this last visit. This last visit I had Juan come out for annual maintenance on my HVAC unit. When I made the appointment the scheduler made it for 8-9am which was nice to have a one hour window compared to normally two hour windows +. Juan came at 8:15 - on time! It was a miracle.

They are honest, truthful folks who don’t BS you. I’ve ordered them on emergency twice, they’ve showed up and fixed the problem. I’m brutally honest in my reviews if a company irks me, this company is spectacular in their service, from initial phone call to completion of service.
If you can get them to show you what needs to be fixed, they will. I like them, but I just paid $65 for a $2 (maybe less) 240V fuse. Either way, my 17 month old has heat again.

Awesome service from Rubio Mechanical. Professional, quality work, affordable and quick. I finally called Rubio Mechanical - they had my part in two days and the problem fixed on day 3. The service manager went above and beyond with assisting me personally and the rest of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Rubio Mechanical for repairs and maintenance.

It is a very good feeling when you need something done and they exceed all of your expectations. I lived for 8 years in the cold state of Minnesota, where the winters are extremely cold and the summers hot and humid. I have had many “run ins” with HVAC contractors who knew your predicament and would take advantage of it by either overcharging, selling you up, or not showing at the appointed time. Fast, friendly and affordable. I had them install an in-line heater/fan called a Hotpod and really glad they did and not me. The tech was respectful of my house - he had to work in the crawl space the entire time - and brushed off his clothes and removed his shoes. The owner even came by afterwards to make sure everything was working to my satisfaction.

We had an issue with the air conditioning system a couple of years ago and the company that does our regular maintenance/service gave us some crazy estimates to fix it including an option to completely replace our HVAC system. We called Rubio at that time to get a second opinion. We had someone sent over on the same day I called them and he fixed everything to get it back up and running. All this at a reasonable cost. (I had heard about them through a friend.) It took about a half day for the company we had a contract
