I am very sad to write this review, but unfortunately, the service level has dropped in my experience with Donlon Plumbing. Had a drain backup within less than 2 weeks of initial cleaning, and was charged double ($350) for cleaning the drain. Called and tried to see if they will work with me since it was not reasonable to be charged twice, when the work was not done properly the first time. The lady on the phone was very cordial, and her manager did try to give me a very small discount, but they felt it was still necessary to charge for both visits, which is not ethical in my opinion. Mark and his associate (I feel terrible that I didn't get his name) were really outstanding. I would encourage anyone to use Donlon Plumbing after my experience with this amazing company, especially after the nightmare I experienced just days before with another well known plumbing company. They were professional, knowledgeable, courteous and most importantly fixed the problem. They went out of their way to make sure everything was working properly and I can't thank them enough. Had 2 new Kohler bidet toilets installed by Anthony and Jose. They did an excellent job and were prompt as well as
diligent about keeping us informed about their progress.
Anthony had previously been to our house to install a new water filtration system this year. He was very knowledgeable about the system and it's workings and explained those things well.

My clients used Donald plumbing for 20 years. They are now trying to sell their house and I'm trying to help them. Donlon plumbing replaced 35 feet of sewer under the house which included the toilet and the shower downstairs. They came back a couple of times because the toilet leaked but it was still leaking a few years laterwhen I started helping them. The problem was they put new ABS up to the old toilet flange leaving the old toilet flange instead of putting a new one in. When I crawled under the house to check it out I noticed that the shower was also leaking which rotted out the floor

Clinton was the plumber that came out and he was very thorough, knowledgeable, patient with answering all my questions, and made home maintenance and good experience. Their prices are better than other quotes I got and customer service is excellent all around. Can't say enough great things about Clinton!

Excellent experience with Donlon Plumbing. We needed a new water heater and to have it moved, and we got a quick quote by sending photos and videos via email (no mandatory on site visit), and an easy scheduled time with a reasonable window (two hours, not four or six). The plumber arrived on-time and did the job very skillfully and professionally for a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Our first two experiences with Donlon Plumbing were top notch & that was the reason for calling them with the current issue. I called on 3/31 requesting an appt for a technician to repair a leaking toilet. I was given a window of 10am-12pm on 4/1. I know every job is different and that my window could change a little before they arrive. I do think if it becomes much later that a courtesy call to the customer is deserving. Mark and Andy came out to open a clogged kitchen drain. After using a snake and finding no obstruction, the problem still wasn't solved. Both men were disappointed. Then Mark observed that the back flow was filled with the same food particles that he had observed before cleaning the drain pipe. He realized that the clog was in one of the pipes immediately under the sink...he took it apart and voila! There was the clog, blocking about 50% of the pipe opening.
Problem solved! Thanks to Mark's keen observation and Andy's skill.

Had a drain pipe in the garage overflowing. Requested service through the home warranty. Donlon was assigned and showed up to do the work. at 2:30 in the afternoon I received a call from the plumber doing the work requesting permission to open the wall so that he could complete the job. I gave him permission. At 4:30 I got a call stating that they left and did not do the work because they were waiting on an approval. I called the emergency number and asked them to come back and was told that I would have to pay overtime rates in order for them to come back unless I got another approval. Not happy

Pros: they call when they are on your way, and some of their plumbers keep you in the loop with what they are doing and when they are done.
Besides the service charge, the prices are pretty reasonable.
Cons: they charge you $85 for each "service call" even if they are at the same property on the same day and you have more than one thing you want them to look at.
Also, they misdiagnosed a leaky pipe and changed me for fixing a leaky faucet that didn't need to be replaced. I also got different

My HOA has had them since before moved into our condo and the company does such poor quality jobs! Think of them as the Walmart of Plumbing. Our neighbor has had constant leaking and they have come again and again with no final resolution. They tore up our master bathroom. Took out our vanity, sink. They tore up a big hole in our master bedroom ceiling. To find out the leak was related to the CEILING, not our bathroom. Andrew M. answered our call & gave my husband advice to slow the leak until he arrived. Andrew was prompt, courteous, thoughtful & worked diligently to fix our leaks. Art came through like a champ for my mother on a recent Sunday afternoon. He quickly and methodically diagnosed the problem and fixed it.
