Most plumbing pipes are extremely long lasting and very durable, but no piping can last for ever. The amount of time your house's piping will last for depends on the piping materials. A plumber can inspect your pipes to determine the piping material. As you can see, most piping is built to last for a very long time.
Slab leaks are small leaks which develop underneath the floor of a home or commercial buildings. In most cases, slab leaks are not visible because they are hidden under a concrete slab. Slab leaks are often not detected for weeks or longer. A common indicator that a water leak is present is sudden spikes in a water bill.
A clogged pipe or drain is usually not difficult to notice. Sinks which fill quickly and drain slowly (or don't drain at all), sounds of bubbling water, leaks adjacent to sinks and toilets, these are all obvious signs of drain blockage. These drain issues could indicate minor blockages from soap, dirt, and hair, or they could be the result of more serious plumbing issues.

My plumbing is quite old and Kenz has provided service several times cleaning out the underground pipe. In January a technician came out but did nothing to solve the problem. On March 15 however the technician was excellent, cleared up the problem and invited a colleague to run the video camera into the pipes. This time both technicians were very professional providing excellent service. Highly recommended.

Paid the $80 to have a plumber check out our water heater (the pilot light went out and we couldn't get back on). The tech was rude, banging his tools around, overall looked annoyed at the job. Didn't really talk until he told me I needed a new tank, at that point his entire demeanor changed and was sweet as can be, talking about how they take care of families because they're a family business. I called kenz because ken left a good impression when he gave a quote a couple years ago. I called again recently, they quoted $145 for clearing both a sink and tub clog on same drain in bathroom. I provided additional details of my plumbing to be sure price would cover problem. Plumber arrives and clears tub in 20-25 minutes, then calls and says $75 more is required for 2nd drain. He didn't care what was promised over phone. For 1hr and 15min work cost was 225$. Invoice shows that kenz has been sold to thousand oaks plumbing. Every plumber lies and jacks price after they show up like this

Kenz helped us with a complete repipe of our home, removal of a bad water heater, repair of fixtures damaged by loose sediment and the installation of a tankless water heater. They were professional courteous and explained any problems they found. They were reasonably priced and did a great job! I called Kenz Plumbing to ask for an estimate to convert my 50 gallon water heater to a tankless water heater system. The receptionist was attentive and gathered the background information on my current water heater. An appointment was made for just a couple of days later (I was surprised at how quickly Kenz was willing to come out for a simple estimate). Ken came out to discuss our needs and size up the project. I had a leak in the main water line coming to the house from the street, they gave me a great estimate on a total replacing of the line with a new valve and permitting, they were ready to start the next day and had the digging done, new line in and hooked up in one day! City inspector signed off in about 2 minutes and backfilling was completed after. All work was done in less than 3 days and for a very fair price. Payment was by email, communication was prompt and I felt like I was their most important customer the whole time. Very professional.

We needed to have a garbage disposal replaced at my friends place in Oxnard (long story short, I have a two year old). I called that afternoon, Scott was at her place an hour later. Pros: Kenz was the 2nd least expensive of four bids for a complete residential gas repipe. They were prompt, responsive and courteous. They got the whole job done in 2 days. Inspection passed and everything works. Cons: Man did they leave a mess! But on the other hand..
The representatives from the company presenting the most expensive bid had donned disposable booties before entering the house--implying they would be meticulously clean. Their bid was 3x Kenz. All said, I would probably use Kenz again.
