From the receptionist to the repairman: Perfect service! I will use only Comfy Cave from now on that is how great everything went!
I had no heat due to my Humidifier going out which is connected to my furnace. Michael came on time and replaced to pump and not only was the service great, the price as well.

Didn't end up using them for AC/Furnace replacement. They took weeks to do the estimate, never called to discuss the details of the estimate (even though I asked repeatedly), just emailed the estimate but didn't explain anything or provide any options, receptionist was rude during our interactions, and they were priced about $2k higher than the company we decided to use... who is actually providing a better system at the lower price. I am sure they'd be "fine" to use if you don't want to gather multiple options or care about understanding the process and product.

I tried two other highly recommended services before I found Comfy Cave. Tracy, the HVAC technician, is the best! He found and fixed air conditioning issues that other services could not troubleshoot. I even hired them to realce my hot water heater. This is a great company with very knowledgeable and professional technicians. I wouldn’t use or recommend any other company.

Von and Michael just replaced our old A/C compressor that was shorting out. At first, the new compressor was on backorder and would have missed the install date. They worked quickly to find an alternative compressor and had it installed on the original date agreed upon. They installed a new filter dryer, contactor, and capacitor with the new compressor. Installation was fast and clean. They left the area better than they found it. Tolerated my endless questions quite well. A great team who will work hard to find an appropriate solution. I highly recommend this company, and we will certainly keep

I was recommended Comfy Cave by a local friend after moving to the area and purchasing a home. Von and his team were kind, helpful, responsive, and knowledgeable. I had an ongoing issue with my furnace where it would blow cold air and cool my house until eventually heating to the set temperature, and would continuously cycle that. In order to diagnose the issue Von and his team tested multiple part exchanges over a course of a few weeks. The first visit, I was home and went into the crawlspace with Von. Thank you Comfy Cave for repairing our heating system! We have had issues with it for years and we had spent a lot of money having someone else unsuccessfully attempt to fix it. Comfy Cave was able to quickly and accurately diagnose the issue and repair it within a couple hours. Rates are very reasonable. Bonus : to our surprise they even fixed the broken folding closet door to the heating system area! Really just going above and beyond. We'll use them in the future for any heating or cooling needs.

This is a great company! We had no heat for 2 weeks in January while dealing with another company that couldn't figure out the issue. We were very, very happy with the service from Comfy Cave. We have hot water heat, powered by a 97-year-old boiler -- originally coal burning, but converted to gas. It works perfectly! But sometimes I worry about a system that old. Tracy from Comfy Cave showed up (right on time) and checked it over thoroughly. He cleaned it up, performed all safety checks and assured us that everything was A-OK. Very helpful and reassuring!! I will definitely call upon Comfy Cave for all future service.

I've used these guys a couple of times now and have been super pleased. They give me a very narrow arrival window and always arrive on time. Both times I've called them, they have fixed my heating problem quickly. What's more, their bill has been very reasonable. The techs have always been friendly and professional. The furnace was the original, 1993. The pilot light went out. The motor still ran, but no heat. The technician came out and cleaned all the parts. The pilot light came on, the motor ran and there was heat. The very nice technician said "I don't know what I did to get the furnace to start again. The furnace is old and some of the parts are very dirty. I recommend a new furnace, or it may stop again." His advice was taken. A new furnace was ordered, an installation date was set.

One of the baseboard heaters was no longer working. Comfy Cave was able to come out quickly - which was amazing as the temperature had dropped and it was cold. The fixed the baseboard heater and also repaired the boiler leaving everything warm and cozy. Definitely recommend their service, they were fast and did what they said they would do.

AMAZING service! I had my (ancient, 41-year-old) GE (now Trane) furnace blower motor seize up. Last year, Comfy Cave did an excellent job on my AC unit replacement, so I called them again and scheduled a service appointment for the next day.
However, in desperation to have heat that night, I took my blower assembly out, removed the blower motor only to find a TON of dirt and dust caked on throughout. I took it apart and cleaned it all up, oiled it, and reassembled it and it started working again! I was pretty proud of myself, actually. I called back the next morning and canceled my service appointment

Jared came out to the house and he was amazing. This appointment was booked through my home warranty and to be honest, I really didn't expect much - figured in the end, I'd probably be paying mostly out of pocket and get rushed service.
Jared diagnosed the problem and fixed it really fast. Even better, he stayed in the house and did a through checking and rechecking, turning the heat on and off, at least 3 times, to make sure it was 100 percent working after the repair. That was VERY appreciated after one week of no heat.
