Our water heater went out, and I was able to schedule with Schmitty's to have it replaced the next afternoon. the replacement went really well, there were two guys who knew what they were doing, and they even gave us a commercial grade water heater replacement. The price was reasonable and I highly recommend them.

We had Brian Schmidt from Schmitty's plumbing out a couple of weeks ago. He was great. We had a sudden huge gushing leak from the pipe that goes from the house to the irrigation system and he was the only one out of about 8 plumbers we called who made time to immediately come out for our emergency. He was prompt, efficient and friendly and I thought our bill was reasonable especially for an emergency.

Had my water main start leaking on a sunday night. Brian showed up, got it to stop leaking quickly then went on his way. Great plumber and service.
I also hired Schmitty's Plumbing to install my a new hot water heater and pressure valve regulator. Once again I was very satisfied with my work and service.

These guys are simply aweful. Rude, inconsiderate, liars who don't communicate at all. I wouldn't recommend these guys to my worst enemy. Generally when you call a plumber you are in a time of need, but these guys seem to think they can lead customers on, never get back to them, and leave them flopping in the wind because the work is perceived of as to challenging. News flash big guy! Use a sump pump and get the water out of there, then send your apprentice down there to do the "tough" stuff. Had Schmitty's out to fix our "list" of plumbing issues. They tackled the easy ones first and then quoted me on the more difficult ones. A friend recommended this company to me and I am very glad she did. When I have a plumbing issue it scares me greatly. I have called the larger companies in the past and have not been satisfied with the impersonal approach and high prices just to get them to my front door. Schmitty’s Plumbing was prompt (actually early), called a half hour before arriving, and best of all fixed my problem. The person who was onsite was professional, polite and explained the entire process including a price break down for each level of repair. I am very happy I now have a place to call for all my plumbing needs

Brian has saved us a few times from house leaks.
The first time the main was cracked somewhere, pouring water into our driveway. Brian responded to our call for help very quickly, came out the same day and gave us a very reasonable bid (unlike the few other companies we called which asked for large emergency fees before coming out and didn't even have time to come out immediately - 24 - 48 hours out for a main leak!). Brian found where the leak was coming from after digging for a few hours, patched the main line, and installed a new main shut off (previously a wrench was required to toggle

We hired Schmitty's Plumbing for the plumbing part of a basement remodel and we could not be happier with the work they did. Brian was great at guiding us through the process, patient and attentive to our needs and his price was very fair! His team was great as well, very nice, considerate and did everything to ensure the work was as little disruptive as possible, my wife works from home and we have a 9 month old baby so finding a contractor that is able to adapt to our needs was really important. I could not recommend Brian and his crew more!
