Since we began in 1947, Johnson Air has designed, installed, and maintained air conditioning and heating systems for homes and businesses in Fresno and across the state. Over the years we've grown our business with Design/Build HVAC, value-add and plan spec services for a wide range of residential and commercial HVAC clients.

In addition to new construction, Johnson Air offers repair, replacement and maintenance for home and business air conditioning and heating systems. At Johnson Air, there are no "typical" or "standard" HVAC systems. All of our air conditioning and heating solutions are custom designed for the specific needs and challenges of your home and business.

We have over 74 years of experience in designing quiet, efficient air conditioning and heating systems that work so well you won't even notice them. I called and asked to be put on the schedule for AC and heating service. I told them that I was not in any hurry that anytime on into the future was fine...no emergency at all. They said...sorry, we won't schedule anyone now we're too busy. Again I explained that I was in no hurry...anytime would be fine...they refused to even put me on their schedule!!! So much for these guys...they're off my list and being in a rural area...they will probably soon be off a lot of lists out here!!! I get it though...they don't care!

They installed my AC/heating unit years ago in my new house. We had to have them out twice before we moved in because there were problems with the installation causing the unit to malfunction. Since then we have had them out another five times or so for similar issues. Each time they say that they either couldn't find a problem but it's workin now, or that they definitely found the problem and fixed it. It works for a few months and the same problem pops up again. They are punctual, polite and professional, except that there seems to be some problem with the quality of their worksmanship

They installed a unit on the house and it is still under warranty. It developed a leak and they ordered a part and fixed it. 16 days later it stopped working again. It has another leak. The part will take 6-10 business days to get. This is the modern world, you can get anything overnighted. But they will not budge so in the middle of July we do not have AC. They won't return our calls. This weekend is forecast 102, 106, 102. I will not recommend Johnson Air for anything.

Thought they would be honest and professional. Wrong!!! A certain employee there needs to be fired for what he didnt do and the lies he told just to rip us off to put money in his pocket. Don't use them!!!

Had a problem I couldn’t figure out with my AC controller. Mike came out, fixed it, even changed my air filter. All on time and, as they say, under budget. Two thumbs way up. I trust them.

I would definitely recommend Johnson Air!!! I was told by an by a DIFFERENT company that I needed to buy a new thermostat.

We have a Bryant multi zone unit and Johnson Air was the only vendor in the area. The gentleman came out the next day and asked what was happening with the unit. He checked the wiring first and was honest showing us that it was just a loose wire. We didn't need to replace the unit after all. So all it took was tightening the loose wire and a few bolts to hold the unit in place.

He was honest and saved us about $400+ dollars. He also showed us how to properly use the

These folks are very honest and dependable. They replaced our home's 35 year old A/C system and duct work last spring and we have saved hundreds of dollars on our PG&E bill since. They were quick, clean, efficient and thorough. Then in the fall our rental house system was acting up. Johnson Air's service guy diagnosed a collapsed duct that needed to be replaced. They replaced 15' of duct and the system has been running smoothly and quietly ever since. Save your money. I had to call another repair company the next day. From the owner down they will do nothing but lie!
