Thank you Rare Service people!!!! I’m writing this from the section of my sofa that is being blasted by cool air. The doggos are happy, we’re happy, but more importantly we are cool…. 😎 Michael was professional and amazing and worked quickly to get our AC working again. Came to service ac unit, not even 24hrs later ac not cooling house. I called and they sent tech, tech said motor wasn't working wouldn't be able to fix till next day. Called office next day since they hadn't called yet and it was almost noon quoted me almost 3xs more for part i could've order on line yet said I was getting 15% off, 2 hour service fee and truck fee, but said they weren't going to charge me for when tech came out second time. The technician should have noticed motor wasn't working when he did the service on it.

My AC went out in the middle of summer and Rare Service helped us get it back working again. Their technicians are very nice and management team is willing to go the extra mile to help resolve any issues.

This company is a joke.
They find ways to place the blame on other subcontractors, for the mistakes they make.
They bold face lie to homeowners.
I have been a electrician for 14 years plus, and worked in the trades.

This is the worst company I have ever seen.

Have been using Rare Air, since 2009. Gary is the best, he takes the time to insure top line performance once the unit service is complete. He's always honest and his price are fair. I highly recommend Rare Air for your heating and cooling needs. It pays in the longer run to have preventative maintenance done on your unit, summer or winter. Gary is the man to do it!

This idiots should lose their licenses! Sold us an overpriced piece of crap Trane - $12k for unit and ductwork - that failed after less than 2 years. Claimed condenser needed replacement but told wasn't under warranty so we had to eat the $500+. Had to call them out 2 more times as house simply wasn't getting cold enough (thermostat set on 64° but it was 90°+ in the house. The 'high school kid' they sent out didn't know his hind end from a hole in the ground - spent over 45 minutes off and on with the owner on the phone and STILL did not know what was wrong, so we sent

I have spent over $8,000 on an air conditioning unit from this company. I cannot get them to come out to service my unit, and the woman who does the bookkeeping says they have no record of coming to my home. She was extremely disrespectful on the phone, and when I asked to be serviced as quickly as possible (because it's currently 96 degrees and we have no A/C) she asked me if I'd like to go "in front of the 90 year old lady or the army vet" before hanging up on me. Absolutely horrendous customer service. Would NOT recommend this company to anyone.

Impressive service from the first phone call. Once the problem was identified to making the needed repairs - I was impressed. I'll use them when I have to eventually have to replace AC unti. First encounter = 5 Stars; Confirmation of Service = 5 Stars; Determining and isolating suspected problems = 5 Stars; Explaining options in very simple terms that were understandable = 5 Stars; Being prepared to effect the needed repairs = 5 Stars.

Recently our heater went out, and they promptly squeezed us into their schedule and ordered the necessary part. They did not try to "upsell" us into buying a whole new unit. The day the part arrived, one of their servicemen was out due to the birth of a child, so Gary was doing the work of 2 people. He called me a couple of times to let me know he would be delayed, and even though we told him he did not have to install the part that day, he insisted so our family would have heat. It truly is "rare" to find people who are prompt, dependable and honest. I continue to be impressed
