First floor sewer pipes were backing up into a shower and a bath tub. We called MC Plumbing in the morning, and they came over early afternoon, the water had gone down by then. Checked out the pipes with a camera, couldn't find the problem, flushed toilets and ran the shower, still no problem - very odd. They came back the next morning, and the water was backing up again, this time they checked the sump pump - a large root ball was blocking the inlet! They removed that and everything cleared out real fast. Thanks for the follow up!

Provided excellent service in identifying where the leak was coming from under the house. They did an excellent job in a very reasonable amount of time from the time of identifying the problem, providing an estimate, scheduling the repair and completing the repair. The price was also competitive along with the friendly service.

Although the job was performed adequately, I in no way feel the price was reasonable; in fact, I feel majorly ripped off. I was led to believe the quote was high because the job was going to take a long time (hence higher labor costs). What I was expecting to be an all day job took less than an hour and a half to complete, including clean up. I definitely recommend getting quotes from multiple plumbers. I hired Maxxcal because the reviews indicated they were honest and reasonable. IMHO, they were extremely expensive. Caveat emptor!

I took the advise of an associate and called Max when I needed a leaking and old water heater changed out. It was no easy task as it was situated under a kitchen cabinet. Max was not only professional but the level of customer service and calm that he brought to he job are unheard of! He is the one to call when you need a plumber.

I looked up Maxxcal on Yelp and called around 9:30am on a Monday morning with a plumbing emergency. I spoke to Max on the phone who was super helpful and ended up changing his schedule around to come over at 11am. He's not only a true professional, but a friendly and funny guy. I enjoyed hanging out with him talking about his kids, SF, hot water heaters, etc while he fixed the problem. This was my first experience ever needing to call a plumber and I was completely happy with the outcome. His prices were reasonable for the service provided, I was happy to pay for good honest work.
