We welcome on Doug Hamilton to discuss the recent announcement from the Massachusetts Board of State Examiners of Plumbers and Gas Fitters to Fuel Gas Code, 248 CMR 5.00, impacting the materials that can be used for the venting of appliances by stating, "The only plastic piping which may be used for venting appliances shall be CPVC, polypropylene, and other pipes which have been product-accepted for that purpose by the Board."

Services
S. G. Torrice is a full-service HVAC distributor that was founded in 1958 by Samuel G. Torrice. The original building was a small warehouse located in Melrose, Massachusetts that was only staffed by two employees. In the 60-plus years since, we have expanded to 12 branches and a full sheet metal shop and more than 100 employees serving HVAC dealers in Eastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod and The Islands, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
Each year, the S. G. Torrice company awards one employee the Samuel G. Torrice award. This award is voted on by our company's employees and recognizes the one member of our team that exemplifies our core values in their day-to-day work. These "Principles" reflect what our founder, Sam had in mind when he started this Company in 1958.

This was my first and only experience with this company and since you asked Google...
I placed an order for a simple part for a residential AC condenser. Phone sales person said it was a 1 day ship to their warehouse near my home by 1pm.
Next day I stopped by on my way home around 330 pm, I had to call for curbside service due to COVID, and was left on hold until it timed out (Approx. 10 Mins.). It then sent me right to voicemail. So I had to call back and finally I'm told the part didn't make it to the warehouse.
So 1 more night without the AC I guess...
