I just used Tim to paint my new 2 bedroom highrise unit and WOW!! I cannot tell you how impressed I was. I initially hired someone else, and halfway through the first day, I realized it was not going to work out with them. I needed to find a new person asap because I only had 3 days from that point to get the job done. I actually got in touch with Tim after hours that day around 7pm, couldn't believe he was still working. I had called many other places earlier that day and most didn't even answer the phone during business hours let alone at 7pm at night, so that impressed me right off the bat.

Was looking for a painter who does exterior homes in Houston, and on short notice. Tim, his crew, and the work was exceptional! It's not often to find services in short notice, with satisfactory work performance. Tim and his guys did a great job repainting the exterior of the house and replacing/repairing any wood in the process. The whole team are very friendly and no request is too much. The house looks fantastic and it was all done at a great price! I would use Tim again and i’d recommend him to anyone needing a painter who knows how to get the job done well.

Tim and his crew were awesome! They have done two projects at my house. They painted the exterior windows (3 stories). They have also painted an interior wall and some custom tiles for my home.
Tim is a very thoughtful painter. Basically an artist. He was on-site to supervise the crew's work the entire time. The exterior windows job was complex and went off exactly as promised.

Tim did an amazing job painting my classroom! I called around and definitely got the best deal using his company! He and his crew are super nice and very accommodating. They listened to everything I wanted and my classroom turned out better than I could have hoped! I wanted some interior rooms and accent walls done in my house. I had never hired a painter before, and called A1 based on the good Yelp reviews. Tim picked up the phone himself on a Monday afternoon, and arranged to come to my house for a consultation that evening. He quoted me a fair price the next morning, and we scheduled the work to be done the following week. Tim gave great advice as to paint finish, and he and his assistant Ray did everything on time and on spec. I could not be happier, and I am thrilled to know I have a reliable painter to use for future jobs. Would recommend Tim

Tim and Ray were exceptionally great. They arrived on time everyday of the project and were dedicated to the work. In addition, they both were easy to work with and very flexible. They definitely took the extra step in ensuring that the interior paint job was done without error; they are very meticulous. "Nice Painter" does not deliver solid quality.
Tim is disorganized and sloppy. Day 1 and 2 were awesome and the house was cleaned up when the left. Day 3 the house was trashed. All 3 bathrooms in chaos, paint supplies everywhere. Day 4, Tim was late and then rushed through without finishing. Horrible follow through and house is in terrible shape after Tim being here. Paint cans left open in the garage, brushes lying around. Furniture left in random parts of the house. Bathtubs they had used for "clean out" where filthy. Tim used my kitchen towels to "clean up"

We had a minor issue with some of the original wall paint fading after a couple of months. I texted Tim regarding this issue, and he returned my text with a phone call minutes later. Within a week he and his team had happily repainted all of the areas that needed additional work at no cost to us -- even though it required buying additional paint.

I found Nice Painter (that's what the owner referred to them as, not A1 Painting) here on Yelp. Tim and his partner did a really great job painting a couple of rooms in my home. They were extremely professional, arriving promptly, getting their work completed in a timely manner and not leaving a mess behind. I feel like they were reasonably priced as well, others were charging quite a bit for the same work. I'm glad I found them, I would really recommend them to anyone looking to have work done.

My husband and I just had the main living area of our house (kitchen, dining room, living room, and hallway to the bedrooms) painted by Tim and his employee Ray and they did an excellent job!! Tim is very responsive when initially setting up the job, quick to call back and answer emails. Very knowledgable about what paint colors work with your home. This is our first home and it is now starting to feel more like it's ours ! I would definitely recommend their services to anyone and we will 100% call Tim again once we have more projects to conquer. No complaints at all, he went above and beyond

Tim and his crew are great. Easily accessible, emailed right back, called when on his way to the house, great communication. He was immediately ready to make a game plan when I told him the amount of work needing to be done in a very short amount of time to prep for a party. He got his crew to work right away, willing to work late, finished with plenty of time to spare. The paint job and repairs they did to our porch & lattice look wonderful. Tim and his crew did a great job in our home. They painted nearly the entire interior or our home, and also some exterior work too. Tim was very helpful throughout the whole process. In addition, he esnured we were satisfied with the color choices and helped us make some difficult choices when it came to choosing the exact shades of grey that we wanted for our home. Tim, Ray, and Jesus did a great job! They painted almost the entire interior of my house including closets and trim and I was very happy with the job they did. I changed paint colors multiple times and they were very nice and accommodating about it. Their paint job was meticulous, they were easy to work with and reliable, and they made sure the job was done to my complete satisfaction before they left. Tim and his guys did a great - and super timely - job scraping the popcorn off our 1980's walls as well as painting over! The night they left we noticed a few spots that needed minor touch ups. We called Tim, who is incredibly responsive, and he and Ray came over the following day and finished to our satisfaction. I would definitely recommend A1 Painting!
