I had a new stairway installed in my house and was looking for a contractor that could do both paint & stain. Leigh went to a lot of trouble to match the stain color I wanted. He took scraps from the railing and tried various stains and came up with one that matched the trim boards on my hardwood floors. The reason for the low rating is the painter/stainer he sent over did a horrendous job with the stain. It is very uneven and in most places it looks like brown paint with none of the wood grain showing thru. I was extremely disappointed in the finished product.
