Services
We do a full assessment, selection and installation process of the highest quality and efficient systems on the market today. We can install a conventional (non-geo) system of gas, electric, duel-fuel or heat pump that also meets our highest quality/efficiency standards as well. At Sentry, we like to think of our customers as family.
Geothermal is a HVAC system that uses the energy produced and stored by the earth to heat and cool your home. In simple terms, it works similar to your common household refrigerator. The refrigerator produces both cold (for the inside) and heat (out the back side) on a constant basis by compressing Freon.

We have been working to improve energy efficiency and reduce our carbon footprint, so we were excited to hear about the renewed federal tax credit for geothermal heat pump systems.
After researching the technology and contacting several companies for quotes, we selected Sentry Heating & Air. Their price was very competitive, and I especially appreciated that Dave was willing to work with me to determine my needs, rather than to just prescribe the "only" solution.

I had geothermal put in 6 years ago by Sentry. I just want to express my gratitude and appreciation to Dave and Cory for a great job and their service throughout those years. They’re always prompt and professional. The whole system still works terrific. It’s quiet, efficient and distributes air lightly and evenly. No cold spots in the winter. Auxiliary heat doesn’t even kick in yet at 0°F. During the summer, a/c can actually get too chilly to where I have to turn up the thermostat. Two households next to me also use Sentry.

Sentry replaced our two heat pumps with a new geothermal system. Dave and his crew have shown themselves to be very knowledgeable and professional, but what really separates Sentry is how they communicate. Status updates and responses to questions and concerns are always clear and prompt. With Dave you always feel like you're working together to get the best solution. I'm recommending them at every opportunity.

When we added a new room onto the back of our house a few years ago, my husband (a retired science teacher) was very impressed with the information he had seen and heard about Geothermal heating and cooling systems. Needless to say that is what we chose to go to not only with the new addition but with the whole house. Dave Bowman is very professional and really know his stuff. He is thorough with the recommended six month check ups and the price is quite reasonable. We have had a lowering of our heating and cooling costs since putting in the system. My house had poor air distribution in certain areas such that in the summer some rooms did not get enough cool air and were very hot. Chris and Dave made multiple visits to the house to assess different options for improving the air circulation. They determined the best option was to set up a zoned system. They installed a high efficiency furnace and high efficiency air conditioner and the zone controller and dampers. Their crew was very attentive to details, worked diligently, and cleaned up the work area. Now, I need to wait for hot weather to see how well the zones work.

Retrofitted my old house with Geothermal - since the house did not previous duct work, there is a lot of labor involved. But I don't mind, everyone who has been in my home has been so incredibly nice and patient with me and my dogs. Dave, Vincent and Corey have been fantastic throughout this project.
