What do I need to have prepared before the start of my painting project (both interior and exterior)?. For interior painting projects that are being lived in currently we ask that all furniture be moved away from the surfaces that will be painted and that any wall adornments or paintings are taken down before hand.

STAY AWAY from this company or any other company associated with Mark Sinclair. This applies to all possible customers or subcontractors that may work with him!!
He collected more than 90% of the cost of the project from me in July 2020 [this is illegal] and promised me a finish date in November 2020 but he somehow ran out of money (probably from paying other people he was previously in debt to) and in July 2021, the project was still incomplete -- but he started asking me for more money even though the agreement was he would get the final 10% upon project completion. Whenever I asked an invoice

I chose Sinclair Painting based on their Yelp! rating and reviews. I was able to get four estimates and chose Sinclair, even though they submitted the second highest quote, because the owner, Mark Sinclair, made the most professional-sounding presentation. I wanted only the back and one side of my relatively small house painted, which involved replacing an unknown amount of dry rot. Unfortunately, my experience was thoroughly unpleasant, and I would never use him again:

True Professionals. I project managed a full exterior paint job of our 3 floor building, and after receiving 7 bids, picked Sinclair. They weren't the lowest priced, but very reasonable and I appreciated how extremely thorough they were in their initial assessment. And all throughout the project, they were communicative, professional and committed to the job. I highly recommend Mark and his team to anyone looking to do a serious paint job. They came out and gave me a very reasonable estimate. When work started the painting crew suggested I did want to paint and seal/caulk the back of my house (good professional advice) and we updated the contract to add that. Overall we are very satisfied with the painting and workmanship and the cleanup. Once they finished I found a place they had missed on the side of the house and they got that taken care of right away. A great experience.

We have been looking for a paint company to paint our house for a couple of years now. Sinclair Painting Co. painted our house, they did a miracle. The House looks fabulous!!!! (see pictures attached and judge for yourself).
The crew was professional, very knowledgeable and super friendly. They arrived on time every morning, and at the end of the day when they left they cleaned up after themselves.

Unfortunately Sinclair Painting does not service small jobs. We requested a quote to help sand, prime and paint a 800 sq ft room, which was only a start and they did quickly reply which was appreciated, but did say they are not servicing small jobs right now. There seems to be white space in the market, smaller painting companies are too busy and don't respond while large painting companies don't find it worth their time. Any medium sized painting companies out there?

We had a very good experience with the team at Sinclair. We used them for painting our outdoors deck area which is a three story structure attached to a Victorian. They were professional and above all followed up many times to make sure we are 100% satisfied. The price was competitive and the work well done. Would use them again for any paint job.

I'm writing this even as Fernando and his 2-man team finish up day two of a major interior painting job for us. This was a superb experience at a very competitive price. We had a little hiccup in the beginning with scheduling, but Mark and his team quickly overcame that and really came through. I was incredibly happy with the job they did, and Fernando is a wonderful, nice guy. I think this is about as good as it gets.

Mark and his team did a superb job painting the exterior of our house. We had just bought a two-story single-family home that was in need of a face-lift. We came across Mark through a neighbor's recommendation, and he did not disappoint. Their work was punctual, skillfully done, and the project timeline and outcome were communicated clearly. It's been years since I've painted the rooms in my house, and I felt like a new year is just around the corner so why not do something new ! Found this place on a local flier and they gave me a great deal for the four rooms I wanted to get painted. They did an amazing job and I'd recommend working with them again.
