The Roof Masters is a family-owned and operated company located in San Diego, California. The founders, Rudy and Rosa, originally began their journey working out of their garage. Rudy worked as the salesman, material driver and foreman, while Rosa ran the administrative duties from home. The crew would meet at the local donut shop in the morning and discuss job details.

I couldn't find my original review but I do want to make sure these guys get their due. RoofMasters was a great company to work with. Their communication was timely and reliable. The job took longer than planned because the plywood under the rock/tar paper roof was so bad! After inspection we had hoped that only a few pieces of plywood would need to be replaced but alas 60 SHEETS had to be replaced at an additional cost of $6k. I can't say enough great things about The Roof Masters! We went overboard and interviewed 11 roofers! It came down to 3 finalists and in the end it was an easy decision to choose them. Price was important, but reputation was the biggest factor, and trust with our contact Carlos (excellent communication skills and perfect response time) and the foreman Pedro. My wife and I recently purchased a home built in 1990 with a concrete tile roof that had never been updated, which meant that it was at / past its end-of-life. We reached out to few roofing companies for estimates and ultimately went with on the Roof Masters for a few reasons:

Outstanding professionals, excellent job, fair price. Including rip out they replaced my whole roof in two days. Before they departed they did did an excellent cleanup, I could not tell that they had ever been there. I highly commend and recommend this company. I was also impressed by their 50 year warranty on materials and 20 year warranty on labor. This is the company you should go with!

I picked The Roof Masters out of 3 other companies to do my roof (Lift and re-lay of tiles). They have the the best price and warranty. The job was done and I was not disappointed. I can’t say enough good things about this company! Douglas my project manager was great. He was quick to respond to any questions and concerns I had. Pedro was the foreman on site for our reroofing project. He did such a great job with keeping me informed as the project was going. All of the crew members were courteous and they all paid attention to the smallest details. Job was done quickly and efficiently. Would give them 6 stars if I could. Highly recommended.

I had 4 companies come by to figure what could have caused the water mark/leak we recently noticed on our dining room ceiling (upper floor). Our assumption was that the solar panels we had installed over 6 years ago had caused the cracked roof tiles and therefore the leak. The original solar panel company, although huge (NRG), no longer seems to be operating in San Diego, and weren't interested in helping us out. Needed cracked tiles on our house fixed and Roof Masters took care of it ASAP. The work was done 1 year ago and we have had absolutely no problems with it. The quality of work was excellent and the pricing was extremely fair. I came back to find them on Yelp because I have another house that had previous roof work done (NOT by Roof Masters), and I definitely see the difference in the quality. Long story short, I am contacting Roof Masters to fix that roof too.

Alberto, Beto, & their team did a fantastic job with our re-roof. They completed the project ahead of schedule and the quality of the roof exceeded our expectations. From the beginning when meeting Rigo the Project Manager he was able to give me an estimate on the spot. In my contingency period to purchase a home with last date being 02.24.2020. I set a roof inspection with Roof Masters on 02.18.2020 and confirmed they will be able to come out and complete the inspection and emphasized 02.24.2020 was my last date. Roof Masters informed me it would not be an issue and would be on time. Here we are on 02.24.2020 and I get an email 1 hour before my appointment that they need to reschedule due to health issues of the assigned roof inspector. Doug is very friendly and willing to spend time checking everything making sure we are taken good care of. He also provided good info for the roof maintaining. Their project minimum is $895. Although we didn't go with them because of the small repair we need is below their minimum, we are impressed by their honesty and warmth. I strongly recommend them if a complete roof job is needed.

Roof Masters came to me by way of Home Advisor with an offer for a FREE roof inspection.
I called to schedule the FREE inspection and after setting the appointment I was told that the inspection would cost me $100.
Confused, I asked why - and was told that to qualify for the FREE inspection my home would need to be up for sale/escrow??

Earlier this year, Roof Masters provided a reroof. They were professional, courteous, and were extremely helpful in answering a myriad of questions before we started.
