Pando Flooring
It all began back in 1967 when Jose Pando (father of current owner John) immigrated to America from his home country Spain. Mr. Pando immediately put his old-world quality craftsmanship to work in the installation of marble and ceramic tile throughout the Tampa area, and Pando Tile quickly developed a reputation for honest workmanship and first-class professionalism.

Thanks to the continued long-standing and repeat business relationships created over the years, Jose Pando's son John and his wife Marion have been able to expand the company as PANDO FLOORING, opening the South Tampa showroom in 2003 to include a design and sales center along with a wide variety of other flooring types, as well as fine granite for custom counter installations.

As a family owned certified Minority Business Enterprise, we put great effort into providing the finest in one-on-one personalized service. We are fully bonded and insured for your protection and carry a Better Business Bureau A+ rating, so you can be assured of complete satisfaction in the services we provide.
Services
Pando Flooring offers an impressive selection of products from the very finest hardwoods, laminates, ceramic and porcelain tile, luxury vinyl tile, and carpet manufacturers. In addition, we have searched the globe for sources of the highest quality granite, travertine, marble and other materials available.
We had previously hired Pando Flooring to replace our kitchen and bathroom floors with two different styles of porcelain and wanted to replace our dining room floor (which had vinyl wood looking floors) and the hallway and living room floors (which had carpeting). After great discussion with John at Pando Flooring, he suggested for us to go with laminate wood flooring for the cost and the look.
Invented in 1977 by Swedish manufacturer Pergo, the trademark name has long since lost its status as being synonymous with all laminate flooring, just as Scotch is not synonymous with all clear tape and Jacuzzi doesn't make all hot tubs. In the past, laminate flooring was easy to spot, but today's technology allows manufacturers to create strikingly realistic visuals and textures that result in elegant, quality floors.
Since time immemorial, when our ancestors used animal skins to cushion and warm their cave floors, carpet has been a basic feature of human domestic existence. Today, carpet is still the most popular choice for floor covering. Relatively inexpensive, quiet, comfortable, and easy to install and replace, it can hide sub-floor irregularities and can be installed over almost any surface.
The versatility, durability and low maintanance of ceramic and porcelain tile makes it an appealing flooring, wall covering, counter top or back splash option for many homeowners, as well as endless commercial applications. Tile is also an excellent choice for those going green.

Very impressed with John and Marion!! They installed granite countertops in my home and the result was flawless. We are very happy with the entire process and appreciated the guidance on picking an appropriate slab of granite and what cabinet work was necessary prior to the install. They were always on time, communicated with me, and did what they said they would do. I am not easily pleased but these folks did a wonderful job. I would use their services again in a heartbeat!!!!

Had my entire bathroom tiled from floor to walls including the new walk in shower that he personally prepped and even built the curb. John is a master tile installer who has been doing this for many years. He walked me and my wife through every step of the process. We initially went to his showroom in South Tampa and met with his lovely wife who showed us samples as we described what we were doing and what colors we were interested in. We picked out some modern Italian porcelain tile. His estimate was spot on and his work looks phenomenal.

I think I can pretty much sum up our experience with Pando in one word .....excellent. I interviewed a few other tile companies before ultimately deciding on Pando. John Pando does the estimate and coordinates the install of the job while his wife handles the showroom for the flooring products. Having John come out for the initial estimate ensures you actually get a tile installer with experience telling you what to expect when they remove the old flooring. Marion was very knowledgeable in the flooring choices and provided regular updates as to the status of the tile ordered. I live in a neighborhood

I had granite installed in my kitchen in 2009 by Pando Flooring. The granite had white cloudy spots in it at various spots in the granite. One is the size of my palm and resides at the edge where my stools sit. Basically right in the spot where you would sit down and eat. It is the very first thing you see when you look at my granite countertop and it looks horrible. I understand small spots, the size of a coin or less but not a spot the size of a hand. It looks like someone spilled and didn't clean it up. I was unable to be there for the installation because my husband was deployed and I
