After working for a number of general contractors, John Potts ventured out on his own and created Potts Construction serving homeowners in Northern Virginia. Potts Construction was a thriving business focused on remodeling, new construction, and major additions to homes inside the beltway. At about the same time, Tom had formed and created High Tech Builders.
Potts & Chapa Construction (P&C) has been incorporating green building practices into its projects since Spring of 2006. Over the past couple of years, P&C has become very conscious of the environmental impact of its construction and consequently is more proactive in utilizing National Green Building Program recommendations.
Potts & Chapa recognizes the importance of planning to achieve exceptional results. Planning ensures that we fully understand the vision of the client. As part of bringing your vision into reality, we'll outline a detailed process to ensure the client's expectations are met from start to finish. During the initial home visit, the architectural plans, if available, and existing conditions of the project will be reviewed.
We hired Potts and Chapa to do design and build work for us in 2011 after receiving strong recommendations from several friends. We were not disappointed. Potts and Chapa delivered excellent, cost-effective designs that saved us significant money and then executed the plans on time and within budget.
