In 1949 Philip Ritter Senior started working as a plumber doing inside plumbing work along with his brother, George. Ritter Plumbing was best known for installing copper lines, soldering and sanding them with steel wool and then shellacking them. This attention to detail was impeccable. Philip Ritter Senior could see there was a need for outside plumbing work as well and no one in the area offered this service.
For more than 70 years, Ritter Plumbing Co. has been a family owned and operated company, leading the industry in repairing, replacing and installation of underground water, natural gas, and sewer lines. Mechanic's Helper- Candidate would assist our garage mechanics with maintenance of trucks and equipment, repairs, and modifications both in our company shop and on job sites.

We have used this company twice for water line replacements. Always a five star experience, from office staff to the install crew. Highly recommend!
Our Englewood home had a water line break and Ritter was able to identify that the city hired contractor was responsible for damaging the line. They took care of speaking with the city about it and that was a huge relief for us. The second time we used them for replacement in Kettering. 🤩

I had Ritter come over to fix an issue with my sewer, Ron was great to deal with and kept in great communication with me and my tenants. Also. the workers took time to explain to my tenants what they were going to do and very friendly towards all.

I removed my negative review. It wasn't appropriate. I go to the Speedway on Arlington Rd. every morning. Several of your employees are seen daily in public businesses here in Brookville and not a single one has the decency and respect for others. They wear your logo on their clothing as well as advertise with their company vehicles. Says a lot about your company when you employ individuals who blatantly disrespect the health of others. Signs are posted at all of these establishments. I personally would not hire your company knowing that you employ individuals with this much disrespect for others

Ritter was in my neighborhood today to do some work. It was about 20 degrees out and my car was snowed in by "snow boulders." I was chipping away at them and not making much progress. They were frozen solid and huge - way too big for me to pick up. One of your men saw me struggling and came over and shoveled away the snow and boulders so I could get my car out. I was so grateful. It would have taken hours for me to clear a path and it literally took him less than a minute. You have no idea how. much I appreciate it!

Have had 4" of standing water in my basement for 3 days! The first company examined the problem and determined they couldn't fix. They referred me to Ritter. So I made an appt for 8am the next day. At 8am the next day I get a call from the serviceman who asked for details of my problem. When I told him I had 4" of standing water in the basement he started making excuses why he couldn't help. Even after I told him there was a dry place to set his expensive monitor, he was making excuses why he couldn't help!!!!! The only good aspect of the company is the person answering the phone!
