I am a 20 years client of this company, and was subject of a rip-off on 3/1/19 by this very company.I needed a water heater Burner assembly replaced, priced online at $125, but cost to company $250. Total time elapsed for technician visit, that included a ONE hour away period to go and pick up part, 2 hours, verified by phone calls . installing… part took 15mn, asb shown in YouTube video Repair clinic2637071.total charge was $750+tax, an hourly rate of more than $250. Breach of trust to long time customer, taking advantage of a senior, predatory practice for unjustifiable pricing. Have filed

Overpriced. Flat rate of $275 plus tax to replace a temperature pressure release valve on a hot water heater. $25 for a part at Lowe's. Not a difficult repair at all. Do not recommend. Repair person kind-not his fault. Hourly rate is $198 , according to repair person. I wish I had asked for an estimate. The flat rate for electric hot water heater and installation is $1650. Glad I did not need that.

...a friend's recommendation turned out to be spot on! Schwartz gave my under-sink problem fast attention (even when I know they must've had loads of busted pipe emergencies to handle), found the trouble and had it fixed in an hour! I was surprised to find out I could have even called on New Years Day for help. I've found a new resource. Even our usually yappy doggies liked Pedro!

I love Schwartz b/c their plumbers teach me how to fix things myself every time they come. I am now able to do the annual flush of my tankless water heater myself instead of calling them and clean out the back up in a pipe because my kids still don't know how to run the disposal properly. They have so much business they don't need mine if I can do it myself!
