Perhaps the hallway, family room, and stairs should be cleaned every 6 to 9 months because you have lots of children and two dogs. If the hallway, family room, and stairs are only lightly used and you clean up spots and spills as they occur, maybe the carpet should be cleaned every 12 months. We all have different levels of tolerance when it comes to cleanliness - if the carpets bother you, get them cleaned.
Soil and spills have a hard time sticking to fibers coated with the quality kid and pet friendly fabric protector that we use, making your vacuuming more efficient and spots and spills easier to clean up. The carpet protector we use is a fluorochemical protector that has acid dye resistors incorporated into its product.
Aside from that little bit of arrogance, the Vortex equipment we use is the strongest of any carpet cleaning equipment anywhere. It has unmatched heat for its cleaning water and unmatched vacuum to remove the water from your carpet. Simply stated, we ARE EDUCATEd IN OUR FIELD, we take the time necessary to clean correctly, WE USE TOP OF THE LINE EQUIPMENT and we are passionate about what we do.
Until we come out to clean, blot up as much urine as you can, then rinse with cool water and blot and rinse and blot and rinse and then blot and allow the area to dry. For small areas we have a great spotter for home use called HomePro Pet Spotter. If we can find the exact spot where the urine is, we can knock the smell down 80 to 100 percent as long as we can get our product on to the source of the problem.

We used Benchmark for 2 different properties and were very happy with the experience. They were upfront and fair about pricing, they worked efficiently, they were very professional and stayed in good contact with us, and most importantly, our carpets look great. They took special care to put guards around the doors and corners to not let the hoses drag or leave marks. We just found them on Google randomly, but would recommend them to anyone and will definitely be using them again.

Everything was perfect. I asked Benchmark to clean my living room carpet and three bedrooms and my stairs and they did it so beautifully. They measured the area they were going to clean and that's all they charged me for they didn't charge me for a full bedroom they just charged for the area that they cleaned. My carpets hadn't been cleaned for 8 years they weren't very dirty but when they finish cleaning them there was a distinct difference. The bedrooms in my house are small and they all have a lot of furniture in them so it was great to get the area that we walk on cleaned and they look better

One of the best experiences I have had with a service vendor in a very long time. Prompt and professional in regards to appointments, the quotation, and services, Expertly set up and protected vulnerable areas from hose damage such as baseboard corners. And very personable and professional to speak with.
The results were spectacular for us. Most notable was the upholstery on our kitchen table set had been severely discolored and dirtied by lots of kids using it as their napkins. We tried some store cleaners but they were not effective. They are now pristine (See photo.)
