Laminate flooring comes in either planks, or squares and is designed to replicate 'natural' flooring materials, such as wood, stone or ceramic tiles. Laminates are several different layers of materials that are sandwiched together to form each plank. A printed film gives the floor the look of a real wood, or tile and is protected by a tough, durable wearlayer.
A molding used as a transition piece from one flooring to another of equal height or to gain expansion spaces. Fasten at the heel in the center of the molding. Additional support may need to be added to the heel of the molding dependent upon the thickness of the goods covered. A teardrop shaped molding used around fireplaces, doorways, as a room divider, or as a transition between wood flooring and adjacent floor coverings that are less thick.

We highly recommend buying your floors from direct hardwood! The floors came out so good upstairs that we decided to do the downstairs as well, along with our grandparents home!

We stopped in on Saturday to check some prices on flooring. We are starting to build a house and was going to buy all of our hardwood flooring here. We had previously stopped at a competor across town and had a picture of some flooring we liked. We walked in was greeted and asked what we were looking for. We said we are going for a farmhouse look and are looking for some rustic type flooring. We had been thinking about Hickory. The gentleman grabbed a sample and threw it on the floor.
