Big kudos from us to Mike Testa Plumbing. The backflow preventer for our garden irrigation needed to be re-installed because of pipe breaks resulting from the original shoddy installation (by someone else). Their plumber did a terrific job and was very knowledgable and capable. He also overcame a potentially difficult problem that, if not solved, would have cost us a lot of money and no end of hassle. I recently switched plumbers to Mike Testa Plumbing. I knew nothing about the company and thought I'd give it a try. My first job was an annual clean-out of our kitchen and main drain lines. The plumber, Aaron was friendly and efficient and, left me with such a positive reaction that I thought I'd use them for my next plumbing job. Soon after I needed a toilet replacement. This company is fantastic. We had a gas line installed by them. The quote was accurate, the time they estimated the job to take was accurate and they were prompt and kept us informed as the work was being completed. A few weeks later we were experiencing issues with an old water heater that was in our home and Mike Testa Plumbing was to the rescue! Kyle went above and beyond with his communications with the manufacturer and myself. I couldn't believe the charges to fix a leaking bathroom faucet and to replace a new kitchen faucet the bill is $691.05. I provided the kitchen faucet, I know Moen's price to replaced it is $180.00. I don't know why I called Mike Testa. What a mistake, Testa claims 4.25 hours, unbelievable charges as a Senior labor rate of $160.00 per hour. The young man Testa sent to do the job. We weren't sure if the young man was up to do the job. Anyway, my husband 86 and I 74. Now we understand, why unscrupulous companies take advantage of Seniors. For our fix income that is thousands

Alex came out and assessed our clog issue and was extremely thorough and detailed about what our issue was. When we called back to say we still had a clog in another area, he came back immediately and double checked everything and made very helpful recommendations. Six stars if that were possible! Mike Testa Plumbing did a great job replacing a tankless water heater - they helped us select the right model, and the total cost was much less than that quoted by another of the major Marin plumbing service firms. Our service person (Darin IIRC) showed up on time, and did a very nice installation. Also helped us with the building permit process. Definitely will use these folks again when plumbing tasks come up.

The Mike Testa company and their incredible staff/technicians are the embodiment in what you'd expect in a world class plumbing company!! I wouldn't chose anyone else or search for no one else for that matter. I know those words hold a lot of weight but given that the second after I called them because I had flooding issues with drain in the bathtub, toilets and sinks. Mike Testa Plumbing were able to quickly send out technicians (Ben & Patrick). How helpful were they? Extremely! Awesome communication from everyone that I spoke to. I would give them 6 stars!

One of the best company I have ever work for or with. I work for Mike for 3 years. Before I moved to Texas with my family. While out there I kept in touch with the guys. When I had a Family emergency. And had to move back to California. I called and had a job waiting for me before I left Texas.
I love that Mike and Kyle do business the old school way. Your word and a hand shake. You sign the invoice and they send you a bill. Or if you really want to pay right then. Kitchen faucet failed on Thursday night. Called Mike Testa Plumbing early Friday morning and had to leave a message. Someone called me back within two hours and they dispatched a mechanic on Monday 8am. Aaron was friendly, personable, professional and had a new faucet installed within an hour. Very pleased and impressed with the service and will absolutely use them again.

We were sold an faucet from Testa that was damaged. Instead of replacing it we paid for 5 service calls because of a leaky faucet. When we finally contacted Mike he challenged us by saying "How do you know the faucet is leaking?" REALLY!! When you see water running out of the sides of the faucet it is insulting to be questioned. I would never recommend this plumbing service unless you want to wash $1800. down the drain.

I called Mike Testa plumbing initially because of the Diamond Certification. The project was to replace 2 old enamel kitchen sinks with 2 stainless steel sinks. They sent out a project manager, Don, who helped me make sure I had all the parts I needed for the job. Not being a remodeling type of person, I needed some handholding and he walked me through the process and reviewed the parts with me before we started the job.

Patrick from Mike Testa Plumbing did some work for me 12/26/18. He arrived right on time with a positive attitude. He gave me detailed information about the plumbing work he was going to do before he started, and even advised me that some work I was told by someone else I needed, really wasn't necessary. As he worked, he made sure that any mess was minimized, and worked efficiently. The total cost for what he did was about a third of what another plumber wanted to charge me! Finally! A plumbing company comprised of honest, straightforward, professional workers who supply fair estimates and provide excellent work. The very best! Everyone we dealt with was excellent! Mike Testa was the first one to come out to our home, he supplied us with fair estimates (we received a few estimates from other companies who recommended work way beyond what was necessary). Wonderful service , way to expensive . I had them out here for a service on the water heater . Two man came out here one was a student he didn't nothing about this water heater he call his boss after he arrived at the job he had to call tech support twice because after his 30 years experience he was not familiar with that kind of water heater . He told me if there not familiar with any kind of products we have to call tech support of course there charge the costumer as well for waiting on the phone. Button line for 2.5 hours of work the bill was $ 400 no parts include.

First time I used this company. Gene Burch plumbing was too heavily booked & couldn't fit in a loyal customer but this company came to the rescue. Had 4 issues to be addressed and not only was Patrick here exactly on time but finished in 1 1/4 hour. Fixed a leak and fixed two toilet flushers. In and out! Great service and didn't cost an arm & a leg. Will definitely use this company again.

Mike Testa Plumbing is our new go to plumber. Joe was exceptional. Prompt, clean, courteous and explained things really well. Gave us great tips that saved us money. Rather than install the new toilet I bought, he recommended a different one that was really what we wanted- better height :). and gave me a recommendation of where to buy it for less. When he came back to install he didn't start a new ticket.
