In 1978, the first iteration of Starving Plumbers was founded as Economy Plumbing. From Day-1 we always wanted to highlight value as the most important benefit for customers. But for whatever reasons, Economy Plumbing never became the household name we had dreamed about. So after a comprehensive, thought-provoking, creatively-intense brainstorming session, we came up with Starving Plumbers, and the name clicked.
