Our design strength comes from our ability to respond to the unique qualities of each project. The pre-design phase may include site selection, feasibility study, establishing the project needs and goals, and as-build drawings for the site condition and existing structure. An initial design scheme that seeks to define the general scope and conceptual design of the project including scale and relationships between building components.

We hired George Sun for our entire 3rd floor remodel and he was remarkable. We had a design in mind, but he went above and beyond to provide us with an even better layout. He completed his drawings on time and walked it through the permit process in the city with ease. We hit a hiccup with the building department giving conflicting information and he was able to get to the bottom of it. We were simply amazed with his efficiency.
He is very practical, sticks to his timeline, and knows how to handle the city permit process very well. His fee was reasonable and he didn't nickel and dime us

We were very fortunate to meet George socially many years ago and then engage his services in 2003 to design a residential elevator and accessible bathroom for my nonagenarian mother. I used George on a bathroom remodel of our condo in the Inner Richmond neighborhood in SF, and was extremely pleased with working with him. We needed to remodel a small bathroom that was a full bath, but with only a shower, to convert it to \ a full bath with a shower-over-bath. The space was extremely tight, and one realtor had told us there wasn't sufficient space to do the remodel. George brought several great ideas to the process. We hired George Sun based on a referral from a kitchen and bathroom design center here in the Sunset. We checked his references and liked what we heard/saw. He did the plans for our downstairs family room/ guest suite remodel and our main bath upstairs. We also paid him to check on our project during construction.
