ABM Air Conditioning & Heating

I have a very sophisticated TRANE AC unit in my house which is often difficult to diagnose when I have any AC issues. Ray, the technician, came to address a cooling problem I was having. He was professional, knowledgeable and informative. He solved the problem in record time. What I appreciate most is his expertise and willingness to keep me apprised of the condition of my unit. I have always been impressed with the service I receive from ABM and will continue to use them in the future.

They came out to fix my AC in the middle of the heatwave within two hours. The technician was so friendly and honest about what was happening, and he was able to fix the unit within 90 minutes. I have been a customer of this company for several years. In the last year or two I have had problems with one of my air conditioner units. ABM has serviced the defective unit by filling it with freon each time they came, never a repair. Finally I was informed by Ward, their service manager, that I would need to either fix or replace the entire unit. I was quoted three levels of service and/or repair, starting from the first a repair for over $4,000.00, which I was told probably wouldn't work anyway, to the last one which required a full replacement of the entire system.

We had unexpectedly nasty driving conditions this morning, so I was not surprised that ABM was running late. Bill McHugh had driven over from his home in Stony Point,. Rockland County is near and dear having worked there. Bill was the consummate professional. Long time in the trade and knows his stuff. A simple little tweak on our thermostat fixed a nagging problem in seconds. He was thorough in doing the routine maintenance, cleaning, and installation of a new filter. I would recommend ABM for anyone in Greenwich, Stamford, Darien, New Canaan, and,of course, Westchester County, their home base

This review is long overdue. I love a company who stands behind their work and goes the extra mile to satisfy their customers. ABM installed my central air years ago. As the system aged, it had a problem ... and they were called on to service the system.

The really remarkable thing is that when they were not able to service it and fix it in the time specified, The head of service (Wade) was very responsive and fair, and adjusted a bill accordingly.

This is a company that puts their customers first, is professional, does the right thing and is in it for the long haul, not the quick buck. You
