I have used Dominick for over 40 yrs and have always found them to be responsive. However the company was re e try sold to a larger company and since then there have been repeated issues with billing. I HAVE A I have a budget monthly plan and pay ahead but somehow they state IT WAS NOT RECIEVED. WILL RELUCTANTLY start looking for another company when contractexpires

Company called to tell me I was at the end of my contract and that they'd like me to sign on for another year. Gave me an exorbitant price - way more than my "introductory" level (which was actually high to begin with). I declined, found another oil company, and called to let Dominick know I would not be renewing. The customer service rep SCREAMED at me for some time and completely freaked me out, the anger was so sudden and unexpected. I hung up and proceeded to communicate with them only by email from then on. I assumed they would not renew my contract and that our relationship was done. Two

I have used Dominick for a long time. I have had 4 heating companies since buying this house 30 years ago. They have been the best so far. Very responsive, and most of the time their techs are top notch. I think maybe once I had a problem it took a few tries to solve, but they stick with it and get it done. I recommend them without reservation.

They are awful, after calling me to pay the year maintenance service in January knowing that I get oil from them only when I call for fuel, they tried to say that my service was cancel on February 10 because I wasn’t on automatice. The reason for them saying that was because I called for a service and it was greater than what I paid. They are crooks.

Jim and Steve were great! Having Jim come out was like getting a private tutor for a course on how to maintain our new home. Steve did the heating maintenance professionally and was exceptionally thorough and neat. I am extremely happy with Dominick Fuel so far and highly recommend them. I just moved from Westchester where I was with my previous heating company for 22 years so my expectations were high and they were more than met.

I recently rented a home and after having electric heat for 20 or so years I am back to having oil heat. the landlord and previous tenants had used Dominick so I opened an account with them. getting the new account everyone was very nice, but when I started asking questions about price, incentives or discounts and trying to understand why they would charge my credit card a flat amount before they delivered oil and then would adjust it after. they were not so nice. it was very clear I was being a pain in the butt by asking to be educated a bit. so closed my account there and found a very nice

In a day of social media it is imperative that service organizations give good customer service at all times. In this case I think that the service tech at Dominick's needs to be reminded of this. We lost heat tonight and my LL made a service call so that we could get it fixed. The Service Tech walked in complain before he even looked at the issue, it was as if he did not want to come and fix the heat, mind you it is 17 degrees. Mr Service Guy, this is the wrong business for you if you are going to be picky about doing service calls or where you want to answer a service call. As I write this

First the only one zone was over heating and the valve for that zone was left open. The other zone was working fine before Dominick fuel came out. I tried it myself.
The air conditioner company came out to service the A/C which is not in the basement where the furnace is located. I don't know why Dominick's technician would listen to the painter and not even look at the furnace before leaving. I'm sure it would have been very obvious to see the zone valve left open.

I always read reviews before hiring anyone. If you keep in mind that negative reviews are usually written in the heat of the moment and when emotions are high, you get an overview of a company. After reading all the reviews and the BBB rating I hired Dominick Fuel. Worth every penny. Love the 24 hour service and all the service/maintenance plans. Most companies don't have so many options to choose from. And having a plumber on staff was a great bonus I will use in the future. Calling them was the best choice I made.

Do not do it. I have had nothing, but problems with Dominick fuel from the start. I was warned, not to use them, but went against my better judgment. As a i am a current customer for oil, I asked for an estimate to relocate a diffuser in the hallway. WIth out telling me anything, or warning me of a potential charge they sent me a bill for $80 - fee for estimtate. When they promised to service my radiators when I started a new service contract with them they sent a bill charging me for the cleaning. I would go with other reputable companies in the area and stay away from dominick fuel. It is just

We have been Dominick Fuel customers since 1991. in that time they have handled several emergencies (no hot water, low oil tank on a Saturday) quickly and effectively.
We recently had to replace our boiler and hot water heater, and the work was done efficiently and at a reasonable cost. The team put a lot of effort into being sure that the new boiler was the right size for our home. I will continue to work with Dominick as long as we are in the area.

On a recent Sunday ( very cold Sunday) my heat suddenly stopped. Dominick answered the phone and responded quickly to my request for service. They provided a follow up call late that afternoon to see if everything was OK. The technician ( Chris) was outstanding and very patient explaning to me what had happened. It was clearly a hectic day for them but they came through when they were needed the most.

I was a customer for 1 1/2 years. I left for a better price on oil. I was charged $199 after I left for a service call made prior to my leaving that was covered under contract. I was told that it was the company policy to bill back any previously covered service calls if you leave before the expiration of the contract. I paid over $200 in advance for a 2 yr contract and am being billed an additional $199 for the only call for service in 1 1/2 years excepting the cleaning.
