We are locally owned and have been operating a home heating oil and propane delivery company providing full service and installations for your heating and cooling needs. We are located at 259 Front Street in Bath. We are a full service energy company that serves our customers' needs 24 hours a day/365 days a year.

We offer a variety of petroleum products to serve the needs of both our residential and commercial accounts. Our products include Home Heating Oil, Kerosene, Propane, ULSD Clear On Road Diesel, ULSD Dyed Off Road Diesel, Gasoline. In 2006 we built a state of the art bulk plant on the New Meadows Road in West Bath.

M. W. Sewall is a 4th generation family business serving Maine's Midcoast communities since 1887. Throughout the 1800s the Sewall Family operated one of five major ship building yards along the Kennebec River. Noteworthy amongst its' production, the square masted schooner, the Edward Sewall, delivered kerosene throughout the Caribbean for Texaco, eventually leading the family into the heating business.
If you smell propane in the house, leave the house, shut off the tank and call the service dept immediately for us to check the system. We have 24/7 service for propane. All after hours emergency calls involving items or services not covered by Service Contract will be charged at one and a half times prevailing hourly rate.
M.W. Sewall is looking for an experienced fuel delivery driver to serve our residential and commercial customers. Must be reliable, have strong customer focus and the ability to work without close supervision. ME CDL Class B or A license with Hazmat/Tanker endorsement required. This position must be available to be in the on call rotation.
As always Downside Insurance is included in the program price for Heating Oil and K1 budget plans. For those that want to pay upfront, write one check and forget about it, our Prepay Option is still available. Tell your friends and if they sign up for Automatic Delivery they receive a $100 new customer bonus when they switch to us!.
We have 2 bulk plants within our delivery area to insure that you will have the product you need when you need it! We offer a 10 cent a gallon discount off fuel oil if you pay for your delivery within 10 days so you do not need to wait at home for us to deliver. We also offer a 2 cent senior citizen discount for those over the age of 60!

I have been disappointed multiple times by MW Sewall and will likely be switching providers if nothing changes. The final straw was having the technician who completed the annual service/cleaning of our oil burner fail to rehook everything back up properly, causing us to have NO heat in our home for 4 weeks (as we had to go out of state the same day the cleaning happened, so we did not find out until we returned). We are only lucky a pipe didn't burst! MW Sewall then charged me over $300 for a 30 minute service call(!) to fix the issue they caused. I also do not recommend setting up autopay with

The staff was very difficult to deal with with setting up a account for a tank that is at my new house. So I went with a diffrent company. I removed their tank put it in a very convenient place for them to pick it up. Contacted them and was informed they will not pick it up earlier than eight weeks from the removal date. I’ve asked to escalate this to the ownership or managers and I have not got a good response. After leaving a bad review on Facebook, they contacted me and arranged to picked up the tank in a timely manner. I’m not sure why it took that but I am now happy that they picked it

Terrible customer service terrible rates. easy to find fuel cheaper and with nicer people. Not sure how these people have friends.... Very unfortunate.

Office staff were not kind or helpful when setting up a service call. They appear to be unorganized and are not in anyway accommodating. Technicians show up when they want to. We had a scheduled appointment, no one showed up. I recieved a call hours after they were expected and was told the technician they scheduled was on vacation. We were then told no available appointments for weeks and it's not getting any warmer folks! We were forced to have someone come when we are not home. Not impressed, we will not use this company for anything again.

We are so pleased with the level of service that we receive from M.W. Sewall. Technician Dana is outstanding and has serviced our system for a few years. Yesterday, in a blinding blowing snow storm, Dana showed up for a service call because we were without hot water. Pleased we were! M.W. Sewall's customer service builds brand loyalty! Thank You
