My friend and colleague has been dealing with ongoing warranty issues for over 1 year. They have been out to his house 10 times and have never fixed the issues, and a few accounts made the issues worse. The person who called him today, raised his voice and swore at him over the phone. It was so loud that I could hear it from the other office. I would never recommend working with this organization because of the way they treat customers.

Terrible experience, they installed tile floor on the second floor of my home, about five months after the installation, the tiles began coming off, they did not used the proper technique for the installation. (3,000 sq/ft) I contacted them before the year of the expiration of the warranty. The manager said they had to demolished everything they did and install the floor again. The crews that were sent were always late doing a terrible job. They keep changing the crew finally, after having two months my house upside down and several people coming and going, the job was done. One of the crews dented

Not very good at all. Technician made a mess and left a mess replacing defective tiles. Technician came out three times because they installed the tile mosaic in wrong location. Don't think they know how to read specs and diagrams. New build home by Neal Communities and do not know why they continue to use Manasota flooring because they provide poor quality and service. Also, technician drilled three holes in tile and realized wrong location so he drilled three new holes on shower floor step to install shower door and just plugged unused holes. The guy who came out to lay the tile broke a piece and couldn't complete the job. That was around the end of January. We waited for about 3 weeks and didn't hear a thing from the tile shop. We finally called and the manager said he didn't know anything about the situation. If you're the manager, shouldn't you know that a job wasn't finished and you haven't been paid??? We waited a week and no contact. We called and the manager said he was working on it and would get back to us. We waited another week and no contact. Called and left a message to contact us. Nothing

Venice Store....Great selection of products! TERRIBLE customer service! Rude and condescending sales person-Tom. We were ready to purchase flooring for 2 rooms today. Left after being treated so badly!!! Tom should not be in sales!! Very unpleasant experience!!! Had a delightful experience at Montgomery flooring afterward. Made my $5000 purchase there. DON'T! If you're considering doing business with this firm, don't! We ordered $7,000 of flooring on July 16, deposited half and were told it would be a week or two. At the end of the first week, we called to ask if they could give us an update. The salesman said he would know the next week. Ten days later, July 27, the salesman called to ask us what he had ordered!! Really? Never hearing from him, on Aug. 6, we left a voice mail and an email to cancel the order. They called right back. Guess what? The order just came in! , The manager, PJ, said, no, we can't cancel it. "

I recently stopped by the N Washington Blvd store looking for carpeting. I was greeted by a saleswoman who was friendly and seemed knowledgable. She was not wearing a mask. So I kept my distance. After several minutes I was ready to buy. But i did not feel comfortable around her so I asked her to wear a mask. She replied, with an air of defiance, "I don't have a mask." I immediately left.

This is our second project with Manasota Flooring & we should have learned after our first experience. We had our bathroom measured by a salesman who said he would return our estimate in a few days. It is now 2 months & 6 calls later with no estimate. The first experience we got an installer who showed up when he felt like it, left for lunch & didn't return, & sat in a corner & texted for a 1/2 hr. We called & said we were unhappy. They sent someone else who had to remove many tiles & replace them. We should have been smarter but decided to give them a second chance

Worst experience ever! This place must be run by people with no customer service skills whatsoever. They tried to tax my installation twice, luckily I caught what they were trying to pull. We needed it right away so signed the deal because the salesman Greg promised us "no problem". A week latter, no call, no update. I should have known better when that slimy guy said "you can trust me". I had to call three times before he finally called back. He seamed mad that I was concerned, telling me he only worked part time. He talked about how he was selling his building up north

I would not recommend this company. I purchased my back splash tile from them, but I did not use their installation people. The sales people were not able to tell me what the back splash material was (marble, stone, etc.) and I asked 2 different sales people. The independent installer we hired was the one who told us what the material was. The store did not call me to let me know when the tile came in. I had to call them to find out it had come in. We gave them the proper measurements but they did not order the correct amount so we had to order more, which meant that the installation person

Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Manasota Flooring did an INCREDIBLE job with the new flooring for our entire 1989 home and the experience from start to finish was excellent (and believe me - I am a very, very picky customer). Dean who was our sales person was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and PATIENT answering so many questions over about 2 months. He was never pushing and genuinely wanted what was best for us. The installation team was INCREDIBLE and the final installation is simply a work of art!!! Total craftsmanship!!!! Everything was demo'd, cleaned up, delivered and installed

My wife and I were looking for 2 area rugs for a new house. We spoke to Chris and picked out a carpet we liked. He was supposed to get back to us with a price the next day. We didn’t hear back from Chris for a couple days. We left a message for him, but he didn’t return our call. I can only imagine what their service is like after they have your payment. It must be nice to be so busy that you can treat customers like this (although the store was empty when we were there). Lots of other options for rugs.

As the flooring was just put down (7/28 and 29) I can only comment to their reliability and quality of service. Overall my wife and I are very fortunate to have quality installers. Not only did they work from 9:30 to 7:30 on Saturday, we found no issues what so ever.
I have returned two extra boxes and now am waiting to see what type of credit will be applied. The material we chose was Cortec premium plus, so my sense is it's close to $200/box.

I chose this business because of the selection and the salesman seemed knowledgeable and professional at first. I emailed him to ask for a sample of a particular floor product and got no response. But I ordered something else. When the installers came, they said they never received the transition piece that goes from the new wood floor to the hall tile. I called the salesman and left messages that the piece didn't come in and I didn't want to be charged the balance (50% down) until the job was completed. When I finally reached him on his cell, he said he didn't know about the missing

I purchased complete flooring throughout my living room dining area and kitchen and a complete gut and remodel of my kitchen which included new countertops, cabinets and glass tiling. The job started August 8, 2016! I gave them payment in full when each component of the work was completed. I had to have cabinet doors replaced (warped), 20 pieces of glass tiling replaced because they didn't use a diamond wet saw. The tiling contractors would show up when they felt like it and it took until August of 2017 to have it replaced. Threshold pieces had to be replaced and all of the base board replaced

We worked with Dean on a new flooring installation for our home. He was very knowledgeable about options for overlaying ceramic tile, to help us avoid messy tear up work on the tile. He definitely talked us out of potentially risky options. The work was performed on schedule, as promised. When he sent us pictures, we were not sure that the product was the color we selected (due to smartphone camera quality and lighting). I bought a high end laminate from Manasota flooring which I had my commercial contractor friend who builds CVS and Walgreens stores install for me. After 6 months I noticed the edges of my laminate were flaking off to reveal the cardboard material under it. I tried to touch it up with wood finish sticks but it became a problem everywhere. I should have listened to my installer when he informed me the laminate was junk as he installed it but I figured Manasota flooring had quality products and that it was warrantied. The customer service we received was so poor, I feel compelled to warn others! Our experience was specifically with the Venice location. Trying to get updates was impossible and when challenged about this lack of communication - our salesman then refused to take my calls. Unbelievable! Put in a call to the district manager seeking assistance- twice. Never received a response.
Prices are certainly at a premium for the product. I expected good service as a result. VERY disappointed. I found the salesman to be rude, disorganized, unresponsive and, in the end - useless.

Stopped in a few times to look at flooring options for our kitchen/dining & living areas. Customer service is beyond excellent, no pushy salespeople and the gentleman we've had the pleasure of talking to, Tom, is GREAT!
A few other places we've stopped at seems interested in trying to sell the most expensive materials they sell, but Tom respected our price point and showed us several options within our budget. He's very knowledgeable & talented in the areas of home remodel and decor!
