B.J.'s Heating & Cooling was started back in 1975 by Bob & Bev Smith. Our family has been serving the community for over 30 years. In 1995 B.J.'s Heating & Cooling was purchased by Douglas Smith. He is a 3rd generation heating & cooling expert. B.J.'s Heating & Cooling has been located at 3481 E M-36 in Pinckney for over 20 years.

As the Office Manager, Debbie is the first person you speak with at B.J.'s. She brings 25 years experience to our company and is responsible for customer service, scheduling and accounting.

After getting a few bids on a new furnace/AC system elsewhere, we gave BJ's a try and we are glad we did. The bid was the best of all of them all, but it was the system expertise that really sold us. Our basement rec room was too cold to enjoy during the winter months and took a few space heaters to be tolerable at all. Doug implemented some changes and added to our ductwork that really made a difference. We gained more living space as a result. The installation was performed by enthusiastic professionals who left things neat as a pin with noteworthy workmanship. We highly recommend BJ's.

We had a great experience with BJ's Heating & Cooling Inc. We called them out last minute on a Saturday and our service tech, Chris E. was great! He was on time, very professional and explained everything to us in detail. We were very happy with his service and will definitely use them again.

Great team! Super friendly, gave us a great deal on a new A/C and installed it quickly. After our bad storms a couple weeks ago our A/C quit. I called them 8am Monday we had technicians here at 9am and it was fixed. I would definitely recommend this company!

BJ heating & cooling to the rescue today! Came home to a very warm house after being away for the weekend! BJ’s had someone to our house very quickly after making the call! Tech was super friendly, knew what had to be done and AC was back and pumping in just 20 minutes! Thanks BJ’s! Highly recommend them if you are looking for the best!

We called BJ’s Heating and Cooling because our heat was out and our house was down to 37°. It was a Saturday night and after hours. They took our call and within 10 minutes the repairman, Chris, was at our door. He fixed our problem and had the heat running again within a half hour. He was polite, respectful, and professional. We would definitely recommend BJ’s to anyone for their heating needs. Thank you Chris and BJ’s Heating and Cooling!!

Didn’t want to fix the problem on a known issue . Fair price on a new furnace but that isn’t what was needed. Called manufacturer and part was under warranty for life, when I called back the price didn’t change even though it was free from the manufacturer . Another company fixed it for less than half the quoted price. Honesty with customers goes along way.

Outside temperature dropped to -8 degF overnight during a winter polar vortex when the furnace in our house went out. We were in a panic with no heat! (and our teeth were chattering!). Yet BJ’s Heating & Cooling was still able to come out the very next day to help us. Their technician Devon was polite and professional, he quickly diagnosed the problem, and then performed an expert repair on the spot. The price tag was very reasonable, too. We HIGHLY recommend BJ’s Heating & Cooling! You saved us!
