For nearly 25 years, our clients have been trusting us into their homes. We know how important trust is in a contractor-home owner relationship. As a licensed and bonded general contractor, we have a track record extending back more than twenty years, a record of integrity, expertise and customer satisfaction.
The General Contractor is a four fold individual. To qualify for this license you must have detailed knowledge and experience in at least three areas of the trades. At Visions Remodeling, our owner/contractor Mike Scoffone comes from a building maintenance history. For him framing metal and wood studs was common place.
We have a long list of projects to help bracket your project costs and get you started if you have absolutely no idea how much your ideas will cost. Many contractors will help you design, but design work is an industry to itself and there are professionally trained people to help you out with it. If comparable quotes are important to you then its important to know what you want.

I recently had visions complete a remodeling job by turning a storage room into a hallway/laundry room. It was a complicated design my wife and I came up with but Visions created it perfectly. They did a great job. Bob and Al are excellent workers. The quote was fair and communicated during the construction for any changes that came up. I will definitely be using them for future remodeling.

We hired Visions to remodel / finish our basement a few years ago and are still extremely satisfied with the work they did.
Work consisted of combining the garage with the rest of the basement, adding a full bathroom including corresponding plumbing, tile work, etc., touch up masonry, replacing garage door with sliding glass door, replacing doorway with glass block window, rebuilding the stairs, electrical work, floor leveling & carpeting, studs & drywall, duct work, addition of closet space, installation of drop ceiling & lighting, and more. We also had them build a shed in the back yard since

Visions Remodeling did an excellent job with my master bath remodel. We replaced our large whirlpool tub with a new open walk in shower. The designer was a huge help picking the right color scheme and materials to fit our needs both aesthetically and practical. The employees were extremely friendly and very knowledgeable in all areas of bathroom remodeling. The owner worked with us by putting together a schedule based on our availability and convenience. They also finished the project within the time frame we were given.

There are no words to describe how poor this company is. Signed the contract at beginning of spring, with a hefty down payment and was only mostly finished 2 weeks before christmas! The work did not start for 12 weeks after the contract signing and only after I threatened to sue to get my money back. I physically changed the locks just before Christmas as I could not take it any more. I could have written a book of all the mistakes, bad judgements, and disreputable dealings that went on with our project. Mike has done fairly extensive remodeling in our house, building two new bathrooms and a family room, and we have been extremely pleased with what he has done for us. He is prompt, works hard, communicates with us very well, and takes great pride in the quality of the finished product that he provides. Highly recommended.
