We had the pleasure of working on this brand-new Spanish style construction that was built from the ground up. The 4000 sq/ft project was located in the Pacific Palisades, one of Los Angeles' most desirable neighborhoods. We highly recommend CMC Hardwood Floors. The owner, Marcos, is very professional and knowledgeable. He patiently explained to us in detail the four-day process needed to refinish our floors, as well as the options for color and finish. We had 6 floor installers give us a quotes to install new 7" engineered wood flooring before we found Marcos. The installation costs ranged considerably from the lowest to the highest. The methods also ranged. One guy planned to use nails (no glue) and one guy specifically recommended glue only (no nails).

I had my floor done when I bought my house in 2014 by Marco. My wife and I couldn’t be more happier with the result back then. Fast forward, we decided to renovate our kitchen to create an open concept in 2021. Additions of same types of wood floor needed to be added. We had an impossible task: refinish the 100-year-old red oak floors throughout our house AND install new red oak in the kitchen to match seamlessly. We didn't think it could be done after multiple people told us it would never look right, particularly because it's an open floor plan. A nightmare turned into relief when I met Marcos and he took ownership of my floors previously refinished by an incompetent contractor. My Brazilian cherry wood flooring was refinished by Marcos and his team. They were detail oriented considering the hard to reach places in my home, under the kitchen island and elevated cabinets. A water leak warped the hardwood floors in my kitchen, dining area, and living room. Marcos' got my attention when he urged me use a specialist in water damage, to correct any mold problem. I appreciated that he was willing to let go of the job to make sure it was done right. So I had the floors and cabinets tested and determined there was no mold problem. But I decided that I wanted Marcos to do the work.
