I attempted to install a new thermostat, which blew a fuse on the furnaces electrical panel (I didn’t know this until after the fact). They answered my call for help immediately, and although they couldn’t make it out, he walked me through the process step by step.

This is my forever heating and AC repair company. They were recommended to me by a friend that uses them and has been satisfied. I was In a situation that I had no ac on a hot day and could find none of the people I knew that could help me. I called them almost as a last resort. Not only were they understanding of my plight, they were happy to help. Within 2 hours from my original call, I was up and running and getting cool. I was called all during the time for their arrival, they may be a few minutes late etc. excellent caring company. They were above and beyond professional. Awesome company

Installed my own central AC system 15 years ago and for 15 years was trouble free other than me replacing the capacitor last year. Then, in the middle of a 3 day heat wave, the compressor failed to turn on. Having no service contractor for past service, I called SG as a new customer and they were able to schedule me for the next day. The next day, two men showed up in a well equipped box truck and were able to fix the problem in about an hour.
They were on time as scheduled, professional, highly knowledgeable and the charge was very reasonable.

High expertise and courtesy. For example, Zach did a fine job resetting our generator breaker that our town inspector failed to do. But Zach also did a thorough check of the inside and outside settings to be sure they were correct. He also went over a few control settings with me and changed our generator's weekly exercise test date and time. Extremely satisfied!

Scott and his team are top knotch! My first meeting with them was when my furnace quit the Weds before Thanksgiving! Scott shot over and saved our Thanksgiving event. When our water heater died early Monday morning, I had to scramble to find a replacement. Based on the great reviews here, I decided to try SG. From the first call to Janice in the office, to follow ups with Scott and his team, we were treated with respect and concern for our situation.The job was done that same day in a timely and professional manner, for a fair price. The old boiler in our house died on us in the early morning just a few days before Christmas. I saw SG's high ratings on Google and they were the first company I called. Right away I was speaking directly to Scott the owner, and later that day he sent out Zach, his tech, followed by Tim, his engineer. The old boiler was done for (it went from ok to spewing carbon monoxide just before 6am -- I never go a single day without working CO detectors in the house - and neither should you). My experience with SG heating & air was negative. I spoke to Scott who I believe owns the company and he gave me a price to come over and check out the issue with my air conditioner. Scott came over checked out my unit and found a wire which blocked the compressor propeller from turning. He untangled it and it worked just fine. Scott then proceeded to charge me three times more than he quoted me. In addition he told me if I didn't pay him cash the price would be even higher.
