They were prompt in responding to my inquiry for work I needed done on my home. Showed up timely to assess and seemed very knowledgeable.

Unfortunately I never received a bid. The project may have been too small for them. They didn't take any notes on the things I needed, so I kind of figured it was not going to move forward.

Still appreciate them coming out though.

I have the same experience as James recently with Custom Renovations. The person came to my house measured everything we want to remodel and promised to follow up with me within a week, but nothing really happened. The guy was really nice and we chatted about I think 1 hour. I am not sure why sometime is so difficult for some company to admit that they just have really poor customer service, as a customer, you should take the review more seriously, you as a owner maybe just sitting in you comfortable office counting money with knowing nothing how your employee treat your customer. I hired Custom Homes to renovate my home.
After carefully planning the project exactly to my specifications,Craig and his team completed the work on time and within our planned budget.
My Home posed some unique challenges given that the building was built in the 1920's and Custom was able to come up with solutions to problems posed by working in an old building. I found them to be proactive, creative, responsible and thorough.
The quality of their work was very high and they made sure that I was completely happy with everything before deeming the project "complete."

This is not our first home remodeling major construction project. After the first few months we can say that we have never been as happy with a contractor as we have been with Custom Homes. My wife and I were first time home buyers and Custom Renovations were wonderful to work with in building our first home! We were on a budget and they helped guide us on selections that what would work within our budget. We ended up with not just a house, but a beautiful home that our family has been able to grow into. We had our home remodeled by Custom Homes and I am happier than I even thought I could be! Standing in my family room and looking into my kitchen actually gives me goosebumps! I would recommend the Custom team without any hesitation. From the beginning to the end I had nothing but positive experiences. I've seen their work first hand and it is phenomenal! My Mom had a pipe burst and Custom Homes had her house completely restored. She was walked through the process every step of the way. I used Custom Homes when I had significant water damage to my home. Their contractors were polite, and maintained a schedule which can be a bit difficult in their business. Custom Homes worked with my insurance company to stay on top of what could be salvaged and what needed to be replaced. They were attentive to phone calls, emails and crisis' as they arose. I don't think I went more than an hour after leaving a message with Shane until he responded.

Just toured one of their homes as well as other builders. Custom Renovations was by far the best built home. They used quality material, better carpet, better cabinetry, flooring, etc throughout. Other builders in the same development used cheap material everywhere. All homes appear great but if you look at the underlying work these guys are much better. Just one example: they were the only builder to run Ethernet to every room. Many details you don't think about when buying a home. I am leaning towards using them for my home.

I had Custom Renovation do a rehab on a home I purchased in South Minneapolis. They had to open up the roof so as to make a great master in the upper level complete with a walk in closet and a master bath. They were so reasonable in pricing, and the work done was so professional, I will use them again in any work I have done in the twin cities.
This particular home was a full rehab and needed a new kitchen, a basement finish, and an upstairs structural change. The work was done in 70 days and was a very profitable investment. I highly recommend the crew of Shane, Craig, Jason, Noah, and Ryan.

We built our home with Custom this year and couldn't be happier. They're well organized and very professional. They we're very competitive and beat other builders pricing we sat down with before them. They have an online system that helps guide you through all the selections and communication was very good. I would highly recommend using them for mid to high end homes or a major remodel.
