Do Not use this company!!!!!! If you read all the negative reviews you will see a common thread and though I don’t know any of these people we all have the same thing in common. Road runner is the worst moving company! Please please please there are tons of other moving companies do not hire these people! They destroyed so many of our things and stole from us as well. If you use them better make sure you have an itemized list of every single thing you owe and because I promise things will come up missing. Under no circumstances should you utilize this company for your cross country move.
I work in customer service, and I have never seen a worst customer experience than the one my friend just had utilizing this company while moving from Florida to OR.
It took months for her to finally get her items and additional fees she was never advised of - not small fees but THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS over the course of months, it was like a slow drip of fees and "oh you'll also have to pay for this" or "I will not deliver your items unless additional payment for an additional moving van is provided" when they items

I hired them in June to move some furniture from Florida to Rhode Island. I paid them a total deposit of $1,600.90. A day or two after I sent the funds, they emailed me and cancelled. Said my refund would arrive shortly. It has now been two months and I have not received my money back. No one is responding to my emails, and no one answers the phone. This company is a SCAM! STAY AWAY!

Worst company I have ever dealt with and extremely unprofessional. Literally every aspect of our "movers" was a lie. From the dates, to the amount of people to the time. All lies.
They also tried to extort us and get us to pay them cash and the "extra space" they used, wouldn't get recorded.... then funny, when it arrived it all fit in the quoted space!
Then they damaged at minimum 25% of our stuff which was all only 1.5 years old.
Very sketchy and not a good company.

I moved huge car spare parts to my garage last week and moving was done via Road runner moving and storage. Each part was in its genuine condition after reaching and unloaded into my garage. No damage or loss reported. The staff was so professional and polite. Really good job by Road runner moving.

This was my second time using them. Both experiences were top notch and I readily recommend using this company. They handled my move yesterday. They were punctual, efficient, friendly, calm, and well-nature. They handled all the added stressors of a move (within the crowded central area of the city) with a smile. It was a pleasure to move with them. Throughout the experience, everyone I dealt with at them (in person and over the phone) went out of their way to make things go smoothly. Terrible, terrible, terrible! Everything arrived wet and moldy! Antique table completely ruined, so much water damage veneer peeled and top warped like a mountain. Boxes were smashed, torn open and damp with water stains and mold. Floor lamp was busted and missing parts. Bottom of mattress was torn through plastic covering. Company was supposed to call to schedule delivery, instead driver calls the night before and says, oh yeah we'll be there tomorrow...when the trailer arrived and the door opened everything inside was all dumped over, had been sliding around for who knows how long. High end handbags

The worst customer service experience of my life. Gave access to a 3D tour of our house. Showed every room and closet. Quoted 7300. Last minute I decided to leave behind the heavy washer and dryer and a bedroom set. On the day of the move they raised the price to $11,500. Said I had more than estimated even though I was moving Significantly less stuff. Long battle to get them to come down to 9000 and they acted like they were doing us a favor. Still didn’t have room for all of our stuff had to cancel our flights and rent a u-haul.
It doesn’t end there... they moved my stuff

Terrible/ bordering on Criminal customer service experience. After being 28 hours late, part of the crew calls at 10pm wanting to pack my kitchen. They were supposed to arrive from 9-1pm the day before. Next day they don’t arrive until noon. Foreman bragged about smoking weed with clients and not wanting to be at work in my house today. Also admitted that the company frequently forces customers, mostly in the middle of the night, to make thousand dollar decisions because Roadrunner underestimated purposely, therefore people have to decide to throw
