The door was bending in the middle just before closing.
It had that top horizontal beam and i added two L profiles to the top.
These guys showed up saying i need a new door. Said they can try replacing the top beam but that likely won't work. I was wondering what would the new beam do that the old one doesn't but ok, the important part is their remark that the new doors are going to be much sturdier. Couldn't understand that; this reinforced door is as strong as any triple layer door at the point where the bending happens. So something must be wrong with how it is attached to the motor.

I have an old garage door that needed more work than I initially thought. I called Precision Garage Doors Sunday and they sent Paul B. out Monday morning. He is personable and explained clearly the problem and gave recommendations to fix the problem.
I agreed to have the issues repaired and Paul went to work. He tested the door multiple times and I also tested it. Things are running smoothly now and I look forward to the door operating efficiently for a long time to come.

Paul Brinkman is the tech who came to my home to fix the broken spring on my garage door. He was very professional, very knowledgeable, and even though it was a late night job, he took the time to analyze my entire garage door, and then explain all of the issues and potential future issues. We have experienced problems with our 20 year old door opener for years. This visit I asked Paul to evaluate our system and decided that it was time to replace it. The new safety features were long overdue since we have small grandchildren visiting and original door was too heavy for my wife to lift if the power went out. We are pleased with Paul’s professionalism removing our old unit and the new installation. He was very thorough explaining the features and what we could do to customize it for life style. Just had Phillip from Precision Garage Door repair my door. I was very impressed by his service and requested he send me a review link. He was knowledgeable, professional, polite and personable.
