I have worked on several projects for Avenue B Development; the first thing I noticed from day one is the attitude of quality over quantity. The entire team has the utmost interest of their customers at heart and deliver an excellent product. Secondarily, as a contractor working on their projects, the entire team bends over backwards to ensure I have what I need to complete my tasks, setting them apart once again. WARNING!!! PLEASE BE AWARE!
Dan Kennedy was hired under Kennedy Construction Group on July 28, 2017 for home renovation.
After “completion” of the renovation and turning over of keys, Dan broke in without permission and stole all kitchen appliances that had been billed and paid for.
Dan turned over the keys more than three months after the expected completion date which caused several thousands of dollars in carrying costs to incur.
Dan failed to supervise the renovation which resulted in incredibly poor craftsmanship from subcontractors: incorrect measurements resulting in uneven walls

I've had the pleasure of knowing Dan personally and also working with him as a real estate agent on a transaction. He's a delightful person, and an honest businessman. It's not easy to find great builders in Austin who do solid work. Dan is one of the few. He's smart, no bull, and cares about his work.

Dan and his team did a big remodel job on our house. Took it down to the studs and added 1000 sq ft. Dan was very communicative and managed the job wonderfully. We came in right at budget in a month sooner than Dan had originally set our expectations for. I would hire Dan again to do more jobs. He was fantastic.

After working as a subcontractor for Avenue B Development for many years, I have to admit that this company has always maintained the highest levels of quality workmanship in all aspects of the construction process. Although always challenging to meet their high level of expectations, it has always been rewarding to see their final product and their constant pursue of customer care and satisfaction. We hired Avenue B to build a guest house for us, and we've been thrilled with their work. The quality of the final project exceeded our expectations, which were already very high; before hiring them, we had admired several houses they renovated and considered purchasing one of their homes.
