He spent summers as an apprentice in plumbing, framing and finish carpentry. After graduation from college, he worked as a Claims Professional for State Farm in Southern California for 12 years in the capacity of: Property Claim Adjuster, Property Claim Supervisor, Construction Defect Claim Specialist, Property Claim Superintendent and Catastrophe Coordinator.

First of all I rarley ever give reviews but I had to in this case. Craig and Jeff were assigned to my project and did an absolutely amazing job! What would have taken several days they did is barely over a day. The CC & R team is the only team I would use for any construction project. Thanks Brett for running a great company!

The fact that at least six of the five-star reviews here are from the company's owners or employees pretending to be customers tells you they are dishonest and have no ethics. (Brett Covington, Bill Covington, Edgar Bautista, Tracy Popp, Alex Cismanis, Peter Keating) So I guess it shouldn't be surprising that when their workers, who smoked weed in front of the house during their lunch break, damaged my home during installation, they refused to take responsibility or rectify the situation. If only I'd known how lacking in character these people are, I never would have hired them.

My roof is leaking at a skylight and solar tube. I started a claim through USAA to see if it is covered and what it would cost. They sent out CC&R and it was recommended to tarp the roof to prevent further damage, which makes perfect sense. They came out and put a tarp on my roof which was maybe $75 in material. I received the estimate and it was only $900 more than my deductible so I wasn't planning on going through insurance. My insurance company then informed me that CC&R charged $1400 to put the tarp on my roof. Are you freaking kidding me! I will never ever go through them or

Our toilet seal failed, flooding both our bathrooms. State Farm has a list of preferred vendors, of which CC&R is one. I had another contractor aggressively courting my rebuild job, telling me an insurance-recommended contractor would "do what the insurance company wants, not want you want".

Craig and Jeff came out to put our shower doors on. Problem was we didn't have any doors. The doors were not included in the purchase price. They went with us to find suitable doors and used their truck to bring them home. After trying to install the doors they found out they were not suitable for our shower. Took them back. While we were there we did some in depth checking and found another set of doors. Craig and Jeff installed them the next morning. These two gentleman went way out of there way to see this project to completion. Thank you Craig and Jeff.

I would give zero stars to CC&R, but i have to do it in order to write a review. Stay away from this business. My insurance company referred me to CC&R. Brett the project manager was too busy to provide me with an estimate and to follow up with my insurance. I had to call the office and text him numerous times to submit the estimate. But it seemed that working in my condo was too small of a job for them. The last attempt I made was on Wednesday by sending an email with copy to Tracy and Brett and never heard back.

I had a serious slab leak in my house. CC and R came through after the plumbing company, and redid my entire flooring, cabinets and countertops. The project manager and staff were very professional, and very helpful with assisting in the selecting of new tile floors and countertops. They were even very courteous, and worked with me on a a budget, even though I did not have the full amount for my counter top upgrades. I highly recommend this company for any refinishing, or remodeling!!!

I own a home that had significant water damage. After water repair was completed, CC&R Construction reconstructed the kitchen, walls and floors in record time with outstanding results. Wanted to schedule estimate/quote the next day...great. Too bad they didn't show. Lady on phone seemed to not care they removed us from the calendar. Didn't seem to care I took a day off work either.
If I decide to let them come out, their prices and services better be better than their first experience. Will update the review if anything changes.
UPDATE: They came to take measurements. Week gone by and the "I will get you your quote tomorrow" promise was not met when they were on site.

The job cite was 1221 Parker Place #5 San Diego. Bill brought people to replace some drywall and Baseboards. Very simple but the people he brought spoke very little English and No English. I left them alone in the condo and they replaced a little bit of drywall. They also left the door open and left the condo. I called the insurance company and they fired them. I replaced all their work as they hung two layers of drywall by putting up two sheets then screwing through both sheets on a firewall.

CC&R was contracted through my insurance agency to repair water damage to my house. There were parts of 2 walls they needed to drywall, texture and paint. Insurance said the job should take about a week, and after 4 weeks they finally finished. CC&R didn't do any of the actual construction but instead subcontracted the entire project out. The first 3 weeks of the job there were no visits or calls from the project manager to check on progress resulting in wall painted the wrong color in the wrong finish and countless other mistakes including trying to only paint half the wall and using

Recently I woke up to wet carpet and water stains in my upstairs office. It turned out that a hot waterline had sprung a leak. I called my insurance company and they assigned CC&R Construction to take care mess. And that they did! From demo to repairing the damage to putting everything back together. As cliche' as it sounds, It's as if the leak never happened. Actually it's better. The best part of the experience was interacting with the project managers Pete and Gaby. CC&R was recommended to me by my homeowner's insurance carrier, USAA, in order to rebuild my kitchen after a plumbing problem in my condominium building caused a significant amount of damage. Since CC&R works with the insurance company, that part of the process was very smooth.
