They were contracted through First Home Warranty to replace my garage door opener. When they arrived, I was told the rollers on my door needed to be replaced for safety inspection reasons and the warranty would not cover the opener if I did not have the rollers replaced and hardware lubed. This cost me an extra $100.

These guys are fantastic! Anthony came out and quickly troubleshot my issue and took care of the problem. I got on their schedule right away and they arrived exactly within the time frame of the appointment and the issue was resolved quickly! Cactus garage doors was assigned to my repair by my home warranty company. For 2 full days their voicemail box was full and they never called to schedule my repair. I finally received a call 3 days later and they scheduled for that same day. I told them I would not be home until 1:00 so we set a time of 1:00-3:00. The technician text me that he was on his way and would arrive at 12:00. I told him I would not be home until 1:00 and he said I'd have to reschedule. Voicemail box full again the next day...finally get through after numerous attempts and schedule for next day. NO ONE EVER SHOWED

This outfit is absolutely unprofessional. I was assigned them by my home warranty company. Per the contract, I'm supposed to hear from the assigned vendor within 24 hours. After hearing nothing for 48 hours I called my home warranty to get their contact information. I then left a message for a call-back to schedule a time for the repair. When I heard nothing for almost another 2 business days I asked for re-assignment to another vendor. They scheduled me for the next day, through First American Home Warranty (which is not worth the money) then canceled my next day appointment, and rescheduled me for the day after that without warning or explanation. I have called at least 10 times, and they never answer the phone, and they do not return messages. Worst service. Dealt with them through the warranty company and they never communicated any information to me while I waited for 2 weeks. I've had my garage door closed this whole time and my HOA threatened to fine me because my vehicle has been out of the garage for a couple weeks now. Mickey and the team came highly recommended. After the initial inspection/quote with Anthony, Mickey had a brand new door installed within two business days - team was efficient, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Mickey and Shane even got paint matched to the door being removed so it matches perfectly with the exterior of the house instead of a standard almond paint that most companies would offer for the same price. Nice touch. My only challenge was having to add another coat to the garage - unfortunately coverage was uneven with missing overlaps and evident spray marks from the gun. Overall

As our garage door was closing a broom handle next to the door dropped into the track and broke one of the hinges. Of course, it was Friday evening and the door could not be moved. We called and Mickey was at our house within 45 minutes. We have used this company before and their service is of the highest quality and their prices are very reasonable. Of course my garage door was not working so I called my Home Warranty company and they sent this company. The came out and evaluated and recommended a new circuit board and said that the rollers had to be replaced otherwise the warranty company would not cover the repair. They said that the rollers had been damaged from lack of annual maintenance. But they did not know it was done just 6 months prior. The "manager" has a piss poor attitude. There seems to be no organization within the company because they called my husband and I on two separate occasions trying to set up two different appointment times, even though the address is the same on the account.
Then after making the appointment. Nobody came to my house to service my garage. When I called to check on the time frame, they told me that I wasn't scheduled for an appointment and they couldn't do anything for me.

Actual work so far is probably 5 star but the two people I dealt with from this company are RUDE. Yesterday when I talked to the woman who scheduled my appointment she was very short and impatient with me. I explained that the garage door was coming off the hinges and I could not even manually close it so that it would stay shut especially overnight. Oh, you know, there are only coyotes and javelinas in Tucson.... She didn't say anything remotely like it mattered to her. My rollers and spring were making some crazy noises. called Cactus Overhead Garage Doors and told them what was going on they diagnosed the problem pretty much over the phone I asked when they could be out to look and fix it. They told me they had a tech in the area and when he finished he could swing by while heading to his next appointment. Super customer services great techs super nice. I had a appointment between 10-12 so after 12 I called and asked if they were still coming they said the truck broke down but they would call me later to let me know what time they would be there. After. 4 pm I called again and whoever answered the phone said the office was closed but call the tech and he could tell me what's going on and gave me his number. If the office was closed who answered the phone? I called the tech he said he wasn't coming today but could come another day. I said well I took today off and waited all day and no body ever called

Garage door came off track, husband was able to put it back in but it appeared there were still some issues with bolts. Not covered by 2-10 home warranty, of course (and how we found Cactus Garage Doors the first time) but they were so competent in August, we called again and set up an appointment. Long story short, they came by EARLY because they were 'in the area', replaced a small metal plate/bolts, checked everything out and NO CHARGE because, well, 'they were in the area anyway'. This kind of service blew us away and is why we told all the neighbors and our friends about
