So service was outstanding, they were at my house within an hour of calling them on a Sunday of a holiday weekend. (Although it cost an extra $150) The tech was friendly and did timely work. The reason I’m deducting stars and feeling ripped off is the price they charged for the parts. My unit required a new capacitor. They charged $239 for just the part. Later after doing some research that I should have done earlier I found the exact part selling for $29.99 he also talked me into installing a float switch in the pan upstairs. This part was $95 which I again found they actually cost $15-20

Justin with Cold Factor came out to my house Thursday and was great! He was very professional, thoroughly checked everything, explained the issue in detail to me and got my AC up and running in no time! Jessica, scheduled the service and was so friendly and accommodating on the phone! Definitely 5 stars and was extremely pleased with Cold Factor! Highly recommend!

Had a clogged condensate line. Tech went and cleared the line. Next day a ceiling tile was damaged so tech went back out and cleared it again. Then water kept appearing and it made so sense. Jessica was a delight. She also agreed it made so sense. She sent the Boss out to investigate. Discovered there was also a hot water heater problem. Jessica understood the situation and was willing to do whatever it took to resolve the issue. All the time she was extremely pleasant to talk and deal with. Would highly recommend Cold Factor. I had an amazing experience with Cold Factor from front to back end service. It started with me calling around to get quotes for a service repair that another HVAC company quoted me for an amount that I thought was too high. I initially spoke with Jessica and she went above and beyond to research and give me information to help me determine if I was being given a fair quote. These guys are great! From my first call with Jessica to Cory servicing and repairing our AC unit, they are a first class organization. Jessica was very helpful and kind enough to fit me in the same day even though they were really busy. Cory was very professional and knowledgeable, took his time to explain to me everything he was doing. Next time my AC or Heating unit need servicing, I know who I will call.

Don't like giving out my favorites in any category as I'll lose out if they become too popular. Cold Factor was there for us in the beginning of first moving to Dallas. 115 outside and inside was a sweet 74. We bought a monster house with 3 original units. We tested CF with just about every curveball there is and they knocked them all out of the park. On time. On point. Job well done!

We have used cold factor in the past and had a great experience with a AC repair.
This time my wife purchased a new thermostat. I went to replace it myself and after hooking it up their was no power. I tried to rewire and also tried to put old thermostat back on. Still no power. It's 30 degrees outside!! I called Cold Factor and Jay walked me through how to fix over the phone. It turned out to be a bad fuse that I purchased a pack of for $3 They could have easily said they would come out and charged a couple hundred bucks!

We have used this company twice and both times they came out very fast and arrived within the timeframe promised over the phone. This is critical when dealing with a broken AC unit and your home is quickly heating up. Our experience is that they are honest and straightforward with assessment and repair, and our cost to repair was extremely reasonable. Our A/C problems were resolved in less than an hour. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future as they have gained our trust.

I hired Cold Factor to replace an air conditioner that went out. I only got two quotes since I was rushed, but they had the best price. I dealt with Cory. He showed up quickly and was able to fit us in the next day. They got the installation done in about 6 hours. Later that night when I checked there work, I found the AC was wired wrong. It worked, but it was wired to have insufficient air flow that could cause damage over time. Also, the AC was leaking water into the emergency drain pan and onto the ceiling. I let him know the day after the install (Saturday) and he sent out the lead installer
