Our A/C died over the summer, and Robben came out to rob us. Our furnace was old, but they assured us it was a good thing to put a new $700 logic board in, yeppers, that'll keep everything up and running. Their "supervisor" even came out and installed it himself, after the first technician brought the wrong part, then had a hard time getting it installed. Robben had at least two or three sets of eyes on our unit, and yep, let's replace the logic board.
Then two months later, we go to switch on the heat, and it's dead. The heat exchanger is rusted, cracked. Robben comes

Dalin Came out to fix our furnace on the same day as we requested service. He was courteous and friendly. He made a brief assessment, quickly went to get a part and replaced it, all within two hours, And our furnace was back up and working again. He took the time to explain his findings and assessment. He was very professional, and the kind of person who engenders trust, especially when we had very little knowledge of furnaces. This was our first time with this company, we will definitely use them in the future.

A/C failed after last heat wave. Luckily got a service call within 3-4 days.now Could not be repaired. Tom came out, gave us a quote and proposed install date by end of day. Installed August 10 and it is fabulous. House stays cool and very quite. Staff, installers and repair personnel are GREAT!

I contacted Robben and Sons for maintenance of my boiler. They serviced the boiler (which I paid $259 for) but recommended I replace it because it was at the end of its service life. I agreed and was told I would receive a quote for replacement, but never did. I called and emailed and did not receive a response but chalked it up to them likely being overwhelmed during the winter storm. A month ago the boiler finally broke so I reached out again for the quote and to get on their schedule. They came out to provide a temporary fix (which I paid $586 for) and the temporary fix failed after a few days

We had our furnace replaced and added central air to our home. Five-star experience from the salesperson (Colin); to the office staff; to the installation team. Colin provided four different price/equipment options, sized the equipment to meet the needs of our home, and worked with us on our final choice. They helped arrange zero-interest financing. The installation team showed up right on time and the installation was efficient, neat and unintrusive. I called at least eight other companies before I called Robben & Sons. I suspected the problem with my oil furnace was simple, but it wasn't working. 30 degree nights were coming, and I needed someone out quick. I had a couple companies try to schedule me for four weeks out. I was very pleased when Robben & Sons said they'd come out the next day.
Randall was knowledgeable and let me watch from a distance. I like to learn mechanical things when I can.
As suspected, it was a fairly easy issue. They charged for a tuneup, which wasn't cheap, but was probably in line with anybody

A little over a couple decades ago we decided to replace our old heater with a new energy replacement. After spending some time researching I decided on Robben & Sons Heating, they installed a new technology Nordyne residential condensation gas furnace.
Over the last couple decades that furnace has worked wonderfully, as a bonus it also saved us a fair share of money on our natural gas bill. Well last week during a cold spell it started acting up so we called Robben & Sons Heating to get scheduled for some service, they were very accommodating on the phone and scheduled for a service

Robben and Sons has done three jobs for us now, so I feel that I can say without hesitation that they do a great job for a fair price.
These installs were done over the last two years at two different properties.
1. New oil furnace / boiler with associated controls
2. Heating and air conditioning with associated controls
3. Air conditioner with duct work, associated controls
Great work on all three installations. Really good company to work with.
They show up when they say they will, and do the work quickly and professionally.

I scheduled for them to come out on my only day off. They decided to change the date on a day I was at work with no notification to me. I waited for the guy to show up and he never did. Then another guy came later and said he would call for service which never happened. So frustrating with this company. Too many other companies that would love to get business. I would not recommend this company. Very unprofessional.

This company was truly difficult to communicate with. Multiple calls a day went unreturned and information regarding the details of our repair were not relayed for weeks after we requested information. Weeks and then months went by without any progress made on our urgent repair (we were left without heat in our home during colder months with an infant and they knew this). After time, it became clear they had no idea how to repair our radiant floor heating and we went with another company who was light years more professional and competent. Unprofessionals at best. They waist your time with low quality people that try to charge $180 an hour for doing literally nothing. Said my "system needed to be changed cuz home automation isn't there yet and maybe will be in 10 years" what a joke. These people are still living in the 30's. Excuses on excuses. Rude guy that came to my house. NEVER AGAIN

Robben and Sons Heating installed a new high efficiency Bryant natural gas furnace for me. Robben and Sons' receptionist and sales consultant were very helpful and answered every question I asked. Their bid was competitive and fair. I liked the fact that this company is on the list of NW Natural recommended contractors. The installers answered questions I asked as they worked. After doing business with Robben & Sons for about 20 years I am very disappointed in their response to a minor complaint. Seems to be a disconnect between the office ladies and the technicians/managers/owners.
I called and asked to talk with Paul about my disappointment with the service I received the last two times I had work done. Usually owners want to know if and why a long time customer is dissatisfied. She told me that Paul and Mark were both busy so I asked her to have one of them call me. She then wanted to know what the issue was then tried to justify their miscommunication.

Note: this quote is not based on services performed. I had asked this team to come out to give me a quote two weeks ago. The day of, I left work to be home for the quote; 5 minutes past the appointment time, I call to check in - they were not able to tell me where Paul was. 20 minutes past the time of the appointment, I get a call saying he's stuck in standstill traffic. They told me would be $150 just to come out without service, and I needed a HP a kit before I could get a date. I'm pretty sure this receptionist lied to me. I had it serviced by Pioneer instead they charge me $140 same day service, turned out just need a new wire and some dip switches reset. I recommend against these people, but I never did receive any service. Only lip from the receptionist!!

We had to have 3/4 the duct work removed due to asbestos and Robben and Sons did the rebuilding work - not to mention gave us a good asbestos abatement guy. Jason is great to work with and definitely makes you feel taken care of.
Day of the work the repair guy was a an hour and a half late but was a good guy and I was is no huge rush. He worked all day and knocked out what we thought was going to be a 2 day project. New duct work and a new AC unit installed.
Mark down for the 1 star is I did have to bug them for a week to get them out to fix 2 duct sections that were missed inb the rebuild
