Seeing all these bad reviews is crazy to me! My warranty company has sent him out due to AC issues. He has come to my house THE SAME day all 3 times I’ve needed him (1st two were electrical issues, 3rd was actually the air conditioner). He has went above and beyond to not only show me what the issue is, but teach me how to handle it when it does happen. This guy has been amazing!

It's unfortunate that Google doesn't offer a zero star rating. Hired Aaron to do install of our AC Unit. Have been informed our unit was overcharged and our compressor is destroyed. Aaron refuses to answer calls or text messages. Clearly does not stand behind his work. Save yourself the headache and money. Find a reliable company.

American Home Shield contracts this scammer and he is just terrible. I've dealt with him twice, but will focus on the latest encounter with him. He came because we had very loud vibrational noise coming from our furnace we could hear anywhere in the house. This was something we had never heard before and started out of nowhere. When he showed up, he "inspected" the furnace with a flashlight for about 30-45 seconds and said he he couldn't find anything wrong. I started to question him right away. I had Aaron Johnson, of A Johnson heating out to my house twice to service my furnace. He was sent by American Home Shield. The first time was for corrosion on my furnace flue.He stated he could do nothing and told me to try to vacuum the corrosion off instead of replacing the pipe. The second time was because my furnace suddenly started making a very loud noise overnight. The noise was so loud and worrisome that we stayed at a hotel overnight until it could be inspected the next day. Again, he stated he could do nothing to fix it and could not find anything wrong with it. That was after about

Does not answer calls or texts. It's been over a month since he first came out to replace something that was just replaced last year. Didn't wear a mask to my house. AHS needs to work with better contractors. I've never dealt with someone this unprofessional.
UPDATE: AHS was no help after this guy was unable to come fix our heating issue. we were without heat for 2 months. we had to pay out of pocket and had someone come out the day after a request and our heat was fixed the same day. aaron lied and said a part needed was back ordered. contractor we had out said the products were readily available

Terrible service and terrible company. He was assigned to me through my home warranty (American Home Shield) to repair my furnace. He took my furnace apart, breaking it in the process, and then said he needed to order parts. It's been more than a month and I still haven't heard anything from him and he won't answer or return any of my phone calls. American Home Shield was no help, either. Now I have to buy a new furnace.

Came out on two different occasions my thermostat kept going bad changed them out never figured out what was making them go out. I don’t know why AHS used him last time he would not respond to calls. Pretty much worthless.

The owner/technician of this company, Aaron, was the chosen service provider sent to my home for a service call from American Home Shield. I put the service call in, because my furnace had been tagged “do not use until replaced or repaired” by a technician from our gas provider, when it was determined to have been leaking carbon monoxide into my home. I put the service call in with American Home Shield the same day the carbon monoxide alarm sounded in my home and my gas provider’s technician determined the source of the carbon monoxide to be my furnace. My family was in a bind. Furnace was down and it was a holiday with no chance of getting help easily or cheaply. Our home warranty company set our appt with the gentleman who runs the company and when I didnt get back in time due to work and he had already headed out of town, choose to turn around when I explained I had 5 kids freezing at home and the firewood had run out and drove over 40 minutes back to Portage and had my furnace running in no time. Tonight my family will enjoy the New Year in comfort and not freezing. This gentleman is a God send and I will forever only call him for any heating

My home warranty company has sent him out twice so far, I actually request him after my first experience. Both times I've needed assistance he's able to see me the next day first thing in the morning. Very professional and does a great job!!
