The move went incredibly smoothly. The team was very communicative both leading up to the move and on the day of. Everything was moved out and packed efficiently and they were down under the quoted time even though I was moving out of a forth floor walk-up and they didn't have room to use their ramp. Would highly recommend!

I moved with Lexel about 6 months ago, only getting to write this review now. I found the movers to be extremely unprofessional and that they delivered poor services. Most significant things of note:
1. During the height of the pandemic, the movers did not even attempt to wear masks. I understand it is difficult to wear a mask during heavy labor, but the movers walked right into my apartment without a mask on;
2. When the movers informed my they cleared out my entire apartment, I did a final check, and found at an immediate glance about 10 items (including packaged boxes) still remaining in the

By far the best experience we have had with a moving company. From the first phone call to the final box landed in our new home, we enjoyed doing business with Lexel. The crew lead even called us in the morning to give an ETA on their arrival. Our furniture was handled with care and the guys were all very pleasant.

I had the A+ crew, in my opinion, John, Mario and Alexes, for a move in May. They were professional throughout a difficult move which entailed moving my apartment and a storage unit to my new abode.
I had used Lexel previously for an out of state move and they have consistently been great. If I need to move again, they will be my first call.

We were quoted $2,200-2,500 for a 100 mile move. This was the best price we could get with a last minute move so we booked this company. Somehow, they GROSSLY underestimated the time the move would take, and we ended up paying $5,500 in the end...for a one bedroom apartment. We were also charged ridiculous fees, including the travel time to and from the warehouse which they over-stated as an hour over the actual travel time it should have taken them (we were paying $400 an hour so that was just an extra $400 gone), and they taped up every single box and piece of furniture that we owned so much

Somehow Lexel has become our family mover.
They have completed 3 moved for me, 2 for my son and his fiancee ,one for my sister and one for my niece. In all those moves we only had one crushed lamp shade
Ross is knowledgeable and available to make sure things are on schedule. The guys have ways been hard working and professional.
I think their estimates are fair and competitive with other companies. Also they are pretty flexible with extra drop offs or pick up

Really fantastic company. Starting from getting quotes was the easiest process, bar none. Like most people, I was getting quotes from multiple companies for my interstate move from Boston to NYC. A quote from Lexel wasn't the cheapest but still was on more affordable side compared to many other quotes I've received. Overall, we had a great experience using Lexel because of the crew that was with us from pickup all the way to delivery from DC to Boston (Carlos and Jose). They were great guys, very accommodating and worked incredibly hard/quickly over the span of two days (during a crazy storm on the east coast) to make sure the move went smoothly. Would highly recommend requesting the two of them on your move.

Grant and John were extremely communicative and effeciant! My whole experience from requesting a quote, confirming a rate, to the actual move, was really easy and stress-free.

Serge was the main mover who coordinated and facilitated the delivery of my furniture and the experience interacting with him was not pleasant at all. They made sure everything ended up exactly where we wanted it. This was the first time my wife and I used a moving company to move from the Boston area to Brooklyn. The furniture pick-up crew arrived exactly on-time (!) and did a quick, careful and efficient job loading the truck with all of our belongings. They paid attention to our fragile items, disassembled our bed frame -- they even removed the TV mount from the wall, saving me some time -- and were very friendly throughout the afternoon.

Movers were suppose to arrive between 12-3 for pickup in Boston for move in to New York next day. 3:30pm, we are told they are delayed and will come at 6:00pm. It is now 6:30 pm and we have not heard from the movers. We made multiple calls for updates. We have not heard back. Phone is either busy or goes to voicemail.
Unclear if prior reviews are real or not. Unreliable service does not match raving reviews. AVOID and look for other movers.

They did a small move for me (studio/one bedroom) very efficient and amicable. 2 guys did the work, they were very quick and helpful, asked me where to put each boxes when moving in, removing the protection from the mattress...
The issue is that they got stuck in traffic when coming to my place so the price can quickly go up if you are moving during traffic pic hours...For actually 45 minutes of actually charging/decharging, you can pay to 3 hours or more. Try moving weekdays, during non pic hours !!

I looked into Lexel Moving upon a friend's recommendation after deciding to hire movers for my local move this past weekend and I'm pleased with the experience.
I reached out for a quote online back in January and received a call back within the hour (as opposed to never hearing back from other moving companies).
The day of, the movers showed up within the specified time range and were friendly and efficient. The whole move took about two hours and came out to within the estimated quote.
One thing to note is that my couch got scuffed up on one side during the process. I was hands off

The price for 3 moving men is $200 an hour. My fiancé and I supposed that 3 men could get a 1 bedroom apartment moved, in a fair amount of time. 7 hours later they charge us $1500 which never in my life have I EVER paid that much money for a mover even when I had a 2 bedroom apartment in Los Angeles. There was 1 guy who was doing everything as the other 2 men sat around. They completely milked our time to an unbelievable extent. Setting up my move was easy and the move itself went amazingly well until I received my bill. I was charged WAY more than my original quote, almost a $250 difference, even after asking MULTIPLE times and being reassured MULTIPLE times that the estimate included all taxes and fees. After speaking with them they were able to make some price adjustment which went a LONG way to making things right. It was still more than what I had originally anticipated but it definitely helped in making things right.

At first, the company seemed wonderful! The staff was kind, and I thought efficient. I had asked them to move EVERYTHING, and assumed they did. Until I went back to check it out the next day, and found I had 3 carloads left to remove myself.
When I called, the staff wanted me to talk to the movers directly as they said they did it all.
I guess if you want to stand there and direct the move, they are good. If not, don't do it.

Jack, Greg and Mike were an exceptionally courteous and efficient team. The attention to detail was fantastic. They ensured that everything was placed exactly where I wanted it. Their positive demeanor and work ethic were greatly appreciated. They also made sure that they left my space as they found it by vacuuming every room.
