Jeremie was very responsive and was the quickest to answer my texts. I originally contacted two roofers from Yelp and neither responded, so then I contacted a few more after a couple of days and Jeremie responded right away. He sent Jay out in a couple of days and he said that he could come out in a couple more days and do the work.

So glad I found this roofing company! All we needed was to have a few broken tiles fixed/replaced. I called my previous roofer who had done a good job replacing the underlayment a few years ago. That company gave me what I thought was a pretty expensive estimate so I decided to look around. I checked out the Yelp reviews and settled on A Step Above. Jeremie came to inspect and gave us a much fairer estimate for the repairs. I recently hired Jeremie and his team to replace the screen over my courtyard. I had gotten several estimates and was very pleased with the fair price and quality of materials that they proposed. They arrived on time, removed and hauled away the existing screen, and replaced it with a beautiful new one with a tighter weave. They also cleaned up the debris to the point where I couldn't even tell they had been here! I highly recommend Jeremie and his team of professionals!

Contacted a step above for my roof repair. They were on time for the estimate, gave me a fair price, and came on time for the repair. I contacted the company as several tiles on the side of my roof above a walkway were unstable and looked like they would fall off. Jay came out and reviewed the entire roof and provided me pictures of many of the areas in need of repair. He also was concerned about the original problem I had called the company about and advised me I would be receiving an estimate for the work to be done. Several days later Jerome called me and said a person would be out to correct the problem with the unstable tiles. A workman later came out and fixed those unstable tiles. I'll start by saying that I didn't have the company do the work because of what I viewed as an excessively high estimate. What I needed done would literally take ten to twelve minutes and includes a part that costs about $25 or less. I was given a quote of $300. I would have done it myself, but due to it being for a house sale, it has to be done by a licensed person. I was shocked. I can only imagine what the company charges for a big job. Just too costly for me.

From the time I interacted with the owner I felt completely comfortable having them at my home. The morning of our repair the owner contacted us giving the time frame his foreman would arrive. The foreman did so and promptly. He took care to use booties as to not bring dirt into my home. He surveyed the needs and his team arrived within an hour to perform the job. What would of taken my husband a few days to finish ( probably two ) these guys knocked out in about 3 hours. Fast, friendly, providing me with before and after images.
