We used CRD for our whole home remodel from September 2020 to March 2021. We interviewed several contractors and design/build firms and were sold by CRD's process documentation and step-by-step approach. Everyone we worked with (our designers, our carpenter, production supervisor, office staff) were all so friendly, competent and professional. It was as painless an experience as possible, given that we remodeled our whole house while living in it. I cannot speak highly enough about CRD. From the design phase to the finished product, the team was on time, professional, communicative, and had absolutely perfect execution of our kitchen remodel and redesign of the whole main floor of our home. CRD was amazing to work with from beginning to end. We did a whole house to-the-studs remodel, including digging down our basement. We gave them our budget and our vision, and they made our house into a dream home. The design process was easy and fun, and we could not have been happier with the carpenter (Josh) who lead the construction process. The final result is AMAZING. As could be expected with a big project, there were a couple minor hiccups along the way, but CRD went out of their way to fix them at no cost to us and in a way that didn't impact the construction schedule. The CRD team was very collaborative, work was completed on time and with quality. Our lead carpenter (Darryl) was amazing and a stellar craftsman. Our house was transformed from a Ballard bungalow to a mid-century inspired oasis with custom details, all without changing the footprint. CRD went the extra mile throughout the process to ensure work was completed correctly and on time, they were particularly supportive throughout the appraisal and lending process. CRD's Design-Build Team re-invented our 1950's kitchen and finished part of our basement to create an entirely new living space and bathroom/ laundry room. We were impressed with Denny's team from the start. After spending just an hour in our space he was able to offer ideas and options we couldn't have imagined on our own. The design process was exciting and collaborative. Our designer, Leslie, took care to understand our aesthetics first and then build on them, shaping the result to fit the style of our home. We appreciated the detailed project timeline and that they did their best to stay on

CRD provided such an amazing service from beginning to end that it's hard to know where to start this review! From patiently answering questions at our first meeting, to informing and supporting us in every design decision, to the 3D model on our iPad to truly "see" what it would look like, to providing us with and setting up a temporary kitchen in our basement, to the gracious professionalism of the construction team with weekly update meetings.
