From the word hello I was totally turned off! I called Marks Movers because I needed someone to come out to give me an estimate on a long distance move. I was in search of a storage container which clearly showed on the advertisement left at my door that they had them available. The girl on the other side of the phone indicated that they did not have that kind of thing. I advised her that they did because I was looking at it. She was extremely rude and when I asked for the manager owner etc. She said that she didn't have one! Really??? Any one that doesn't work for themselves has a manager

This company is amazing! We have used them for 4 moves now (yes, we realize that we are habitual movers), but they have been consistent and awesome every time. Our two movers, John and Kyle, were so fantastic. They were neat, organized, prompt, and had such great attitudes. They never made us feel rushed and gave us great tips for packing up boxes and even our cars. When they were unloading the next day, they put everything in its place and even took the time to look at paintings our niece and nephew made. It was so sweet! We hired a truck and 3 movers from Mark's this weekend to move a 2500 sq ft house. This was not an easy move as we had 10 years of accumulation, some very heavy furniture and a piano. John, Kyle and Chris showed up promptly on time, did a walk through with us and got to work. They were courteous, efficient and did exactly what we asked of them. Our items were shrink wrapped, blanketed and moved with care. It was a long day, but the guys did a great job for what we thought was a very reasonable rate. I would use them again without hesitation.

I used Mark's Movers about a year and a half ago to move a very short distance in Raleigh. They showed up on time but, one of the two guys that arrived had a very upsetting attitude. They moved quickly but, they STOLE AN $80 HALOGEN LAMP AND BROKE THE LEG ON MY ANTIQUE, SOLID WOOD DRESSER. I contacted the company who, asked me to take pictures of the broken dresser and didn't really address the fact that they stole my lamp. At the time, I was just out of the hospital and not myself and didn't follow up accordingly. I am doing better now and looking to move next year and I wanted

I moved to Raleigh last Saturday, and I needed someone to assist me with unloading the rental truck since I live on the 3rd floor. I contacted Mark's Movers two weeks prior to my move, and called 2 days prior just to confirm everything.
They were scheduled to arrive at 3pm. They called me just before 1pm and said they could come early if I wanted, or they could still arrive at 3pm as originally planned. I asked them to come on over a little early....
Two very nice guys showed up. In just one hour, they had managed to move 30+ boxes, a dining room set, and my mattress from my rental truck
