Marilee at “Dose Moving” responded immediately with a clear quote and no additional stairs fee or other “hidden fees.” The quote included a very reasonable fixed “Trip Fee,” which attracted our attention since the Trip Fee quoted by the other bidders was not fixed, nor was it reasonable.

We had a great experience moving with Dose! Because we had a delay between moving out and moving in, plus a "packing day" assisted by Dose employees, we had multiple crews, all of whom were very helpful and extremely courteous. You can actually speak to a live person when you call them, they're responsive and dependable, and the cost was quite reasonable. We had two other quotes from local companies; one company didn't respond at all to numerous messages and attempts to contact after they gave us an estimate and another company's bid was 3 times what Dose charged us!! Moving is always stressful

I had previously used Dose three times before this last move. I decided to use them one more time to move my things into storage while our house was being built. We specifically requested a box for our 75" Tv that cost $3000. When the movers arrived they had not brought a box and just wrapped it in a blanket. We watched them load it and assumed it would be ok. They stored our furniture for 6 months, which was expensive as well When our furniture was delivered the tv was totally trashed. The Dose team members were courteous and timely. However, they did not complete the job. It felt as though there were kind people here who were good workers, but did not know how to pack up a trailer for a big move correctly.
This became obvious to me when at about half way through the job, the leader asked us what else was priority in the home to get into the truck. (We still had a good amount of items in our home at this stage). We replied that everything, obviously, in our home needed to be packed up to move. He said it would not fit. This was shocking as we measured, weighed and consulted

This is the second time using Dose moving company in 4 years. I was so impressed the first time I had to use them again. The staff is so helpful and professional. They arrive on time and work fast but always taking care with wrapping and loading. I like how they have an app that tracks to let you know when they will arrive. I would highly recommend!

I contracted with Dose Moving to relocate our furniture from Scottsdale to East Mesa. Greg was the crew leader and from the get-go the crew was 100% polite. I was apprehensive based upon experience with a previous mover that was less than careful. I was so impressed that Dose used a moving blanket on each piece of furniture, then plastic wrapped and taped it. We had some collectible Indian art that is very delicate. They double wrapped it and were extra careful.
Our previous mover gouged us for one hour to, and one hour from, travel time, PLUS added a 16% fuel surcharge. Dose did not add fuel

The three guys that came to move me were the sweetest and made the whole experience seamless. Just had the best mover help ever! From scheduling, communication to moving day - it could not have gone better !! Our team, Steven, Brian, and Cornelio worked above and beyond, working quick but taking extra care to protect our furnishings with wrapping/padding, and also moving things though the home(s) on both ends of the move so as to avoid damaging walls etc. They were great about asking where to place things and even move things around to my requests, and also put furniture that had to be taken apart for the move back together so things were left easy for me to deal with. The very best: nothing broken, lost, or stolen. And some items were actually repaired like a broken bed and table. Always wore a mask, courteous, never cussed, and cared about our stuff. If i could give them 10 stars, i would. From my first conversation with Marilee to my awesome movers, it was hands down an amazing experience. Most places go through to an automated system or I had to go through a website only to get a quote. It was so nice, personable and reassuring to actually speak to a human. And, Marilee was very professional… and sweet. Then we have my movers (Steven and Ruben)...I can’t say enough about them. They were so friendly, fast and efficient and I loved that they cared for my belongings as if it were their own. That’s all anyone moving can ask

Joshua (Crew Chief) & Stephen (Crew) were awesome! This was the easiest and least stressful move I have ever had -- and it was relocating to another town! These guys were great, good energy, fast work, showed up on time, communicated well... I had no worries about my stuff at all and I opted to have them assemble the TV & bed -- that was the best decision ever. They were quick and I SO appreciated having a bed my first night and TV.

I am absolutely blown away by this company. Branden Howard, Julien, and Dakota helped me (they did everything lol) move out of my apt and it was a breeze! It was reasonably priced for such a premium service! I will never move anywhere again without giving them a call. The owner, Marilee, was a joy to work with as well! This company was a dream to work with from beginning to end. We moved several times over the hot az summer & they made it so much easier to accomplish everything.
We also used their storage program & cannot speak more highly about that too. We waited to do this review until our moving was completed. They exceeded all our expectations & both 3 man moving teams went above & beyond to take care of us & our belongings.

They are a decent moving service. I asked for packing moving and unpacking. I cancelled the unpacking mostly because I realized it was better to unpack myself at my own convenience.
There was damage to a bed post. They did not fuss over the claim. I didn't get the value back on the claim from their insurance.
The best aspect was the personal visit to give you an accurate quote.
The least favorite aspect was the damage to the bed post. Without that, good experience overall.

I have used Dose Moving twice in the past year, and am finally managing to share my great experience here.
1st move in May 2018: Victor, Cameron, and Payton moved me from a house into a dreaded 3rd floor apartment. They did an amazing job of following my instructions as to which items were moving and which weren't (NOT an ideal moving scenario; I know) and took incredibly great care of my things (far better care than I take of my own things). Great experience making a very stressful move a thousand times easier.

This review is NOT about the guys that actually showed up for the move. I ordered 3 movers and a truck for $155 a hour. I ended up getting 2 movers for $135. I guess one of them had an emergency. But no back up person? This ended up costing me about $100 more because it took so much longer to move things down a flight of stairs.
UPDATE: Dose moving called me after I made the initial review and made things right. They did state that they don't hire extra movers to be on stand by. Also they did provide me with a slight refund. They also let me know that if there is a next time, to talk with

I pulled quotes from about 4 different moving companies and Dose was by far the cheapest. Thankfully, that doesn't mean they skimp on quality because our move was perfect!
The moving crew was 15 minutes early and had our 3 story condo packed and moved into our new house in less than 2 hours. Even though they worked quickly, everything was moved safe and sound without damage.
I'm hoping that I won't be moving for awhile, but I'd absolutely use Dose again.
