Under Florida lien law 713.06 , if a contractor that performs work on your home does not pay their subcontractors or material suppliers, your home can be subject to a lien by the subcontractor even if you pay the contractor in full. I personally am owed money on more than 40 jobs and counting that Divici Roofing has performed work on. If you have worked with Matthew Capelli, James Nedwell, Dominick Merrick, or Dylan Crego your home may be subject to a lien even if you have paid Divici Roofing in full. This is an ongoing legal dispute that has not been settled.
