Had a tremendously horrible experience with D-Town Movers. I paid my deposit for my move on Saturday 12/11 12-2pm...then it was delayed 2-4pm...then 4-6pm...then after 6pm. They said they were running really behind so I could do it sometime after 6-8pm...(and my move was going to take at least 3-4 hours) so they asked me to change from my scheduled Sat 2pm move to first thing Sunday morning...good thing I did because they didn't even finish the job before mine until 3am...3am!!!! If I would have listened to their lies again, it would have been after 3am...before

More than 90 days have pass since the day we moved and used your services, trying to contact management or someone who cares for costumer services and satisfaction has been imposible, emails and calls don’t get any response, I guess reviews and recommendations is the way to go.

Will never use this company again. I scheduled a pick up and they did not show up when promised. In fact I kept texting them for status and they only responded once. Instead of having someo waiting all day, a courtesy call goes a long way. Then they called on a Friday to tell me they would be available at 12 noon and didn't show up until 4:30pm. Then when the job was done, they had a nerve to charge me an extra 120.00 above what they quoted and didn't deduct the 100.00 deposit . Horrbike thrives. I would not use them again!!! They showed up 2 hours late! No phone call saying they would be that late! Daisy quoted a price for my move @ $139 per hour. After the moved was completed the owner said he would not honor that price and the price was $189 hour and that his price was the best price I would find anywhere. Totally unprofessional!!! I hired them for a specific day and time. They called last minute to say they may not make it. I told them I can't reschedule as the rental property had to turn the location over to a new individual. They showed up 7 hours late. I had to have my friend show up to facilitate the move while I was at work. I later received a call from my former location to let me j ow that "numerous boxes" had been left behind. I went back and tried to retrieve everything. 10/10 would not hire again. I still tipped the boys (I say boys because one had to still be a teenager...) because I cant hire someone for manual labor and not tip, it's just not who I am, but I'm quite sure I could have moved everything myself in the same amount of time. They were subcontracted out by the company and really had no business leading the project. I paid for professional movers and definitely didn't receive professionals. I tried reaching out to the company before leaving this review, but clearly they only care about getting your money... not providing great service

Guys worked hard to get us moved but damaged our furniture and didn't pad and wrap furniture like was shown on the website. Ended up being a 2 day move for a 3 bedroom house. Guys were rookies when it came to packing a truck. Called customer service and they assured me they would come the next day to finish job. But the next day I was charged an additional $500.00. Manager would not reimburse money even when I was told multiple times I wouldn't be charged. Very disappointed in the service.

i scheduled a pickup-delivery of a grand piano. gave them every detail possible, pay my deposit and i thought i was set to go. When they arrived the day of delivery, the guys said they couldn't perform the job because it was too steep and that they needed more than 3 guys to move it even though i told them about the four steps. they took my piano without asking before how we could resolve the situation

It started good with making the appt and them communicating arrival. Friendly movers but bad ethics. It took 3 hours to load from a 1 bedroom, 1st floor apt which all have been packed for them and partner and I even helped moved closet and other misc items and took forever. Then they try to reason that it's normal. They starts the move at 1037 and it's now 506pm. For a 1 bedroom. Not sure where to start... after I told them every item I had they sent 3 guys and a tiny truck that ended up taking two trips which cost me extra money and time. On top of that There were still items not moved because I wasn't going to allow them to make a 3rd trip. One of the movers was 72 years old and couldn't even carry half of the items I had.
During the process of unloading they dragged an item on my wood floors scratching them extremely deep. I submitted everything for a repair ticket. The response time was horrible and took them almost 2 months to send someone out to fix it

DTown movers has been the worst moving company and experience by far. First, my appointed time was 3pm and they arrived one hour and 15 minutes late. Mind you it's Covid-19 and they have no mask or anything. Then they arrive with attitudes because they stated they didn't know they had another job. I scheduled a moving team of "3". One of the movers couldn't do his job for trying to flirt with my sister and talking and cracking jokes (Ron). These men knew nothing about moving nor had the strength to do so.

This team of Anthony and Andrew have now set a ridiculous standard for others to try and attain. I've had really poor experiences with other movers in the past and expected the worst. These two hustled the entire time; no going slow to stretch out the time. They completed the task in way less time than I expected and didn't have to sacrifice care for our home and furniture to do so. This was a difficult move with antiques, heavy furniture to the second floor and rain, but they still delivered a high quality move with friendliness, humor and great attitudes.
