We recently had the exterior of our house painted by Simon and Shine Painting. Simon was very thorough and detailed during the walkthrough and in his preparation of the estimate.
The crew was professional and worked very hard, especially as our house had a lot of trim to paint and three different colors overall.
As we wanted to keep our house's original colors, Simon took extra care to match the paint to our specific request. Ultimately, we are pleased with how the house looks now and if the need ever arises, we would use Shine Painting again.

We're very happy we went with Simon at Shine Painting for our home exterior paint job. I had two other quotes but Simon was the most affordable one and he answered all my questions. Simon also ordered the paint colors before the start date to prevent any delays.
They started the job on 12/1 (as promised) the painters were on time, very careful with everything around our house, and professional. It took 4 days to paint our home, including touch-up.
We haven't painted our 70's house since we bought it (11yrs ago) and the house looks very modern now. I highly recommend Shine Painting

I highly recommend Shine Painting Company. I was able to set up an appointment with the owner, Simon Shin, very easily. The painters, Angel and his assistant, couldn't have been more polite and hard-working. The project was completed fairly quickly, with good quality work. The cost was reasonable and I would definitely use this company again.

I am very happy I chose Simon and Shine Painting to paint the outside of my house. Simon was very professional, responded quickly to my request for a quote, took the time during the walk thru to discuss all of the options and answer all of my questions. His quote was very detailed and clearly documented. He already had a small backlog of customers, but started my house on the day originally quoted!

Simon returned our call promptly, was able to give us a very competitive estimate for an exterior paint job, and scheduled the work within a month of receiving our deposit.
The work took three days to complete. First day was a power wash, patching and prepping the house for painting on day two. Third day was trim work and doors.
The painting crew was very polite and didn’t seem to mind our kids waving at them through the windows. The house looked brand new when the work was completed and the crew did a great job cleaning up afterwards. They also left us the remaining paint in case we needed

We had such a great experience with Simon and Shine painting. We had used another company when we first moved in to do our interior, but it took over 4 and a half weeks and I found so many things they missed plus they were expensive. So when we wanted to paint the exterior I asked a group of mom friends and they highly recommended Simon and his team. We liked another house's paint color in Piedmont and Simon even went to their house to color match it for us.

Fairly priced (compared with other painters I got quotes from), responded quickly, and seems pretty organized. Simon requires 10% down to schedule a slot, and 2 painters showed up at 8am the day of to paint my garage. They were polite, covered everything in the garage that couldn't be removed, worked quickly and professionally, and overall work seems great.

This is a few month overdue but really wanted to give a shout-out to this company. Worked with Simon on a 3-phase project for our home. Their company painted the exterior, upstairs, and then downstairs of the home and we appreciate the transparency and honesty of working with Simon as it was definitely a big project.

Simon of Shine Painting Co. was very professional and the quote was reasonable out of the other exterior paint quotes I received. He definitely went the extra mile and even painted our retainer wall adjacent to the house. His foreman was respectful and helped us paint areas that they had not initially done after we pointed it out to them during the final walkthrough. I was seeking estimates for my 2000 sq ft house, and from the start Simon Shin has been incredibly professional. From scheduling an in-person estimate within a day to providing an estimate on the spot, he instilled confidence in his abilities and in his company. Simon was prompt in responding to any concerns. He came out the next day to look at the property to give us a quote. We had several contractors give us quotes, but I picked him because of his attention to detail. His contract was explicit as to what was and wasn't included. If there were any changes, he ran it by me so I was aware so I could approve or not approve of it. From the beginning to the end, working with Shine has been as good as it gets...honestly. We have an older home, built in 1960 with wood siding throughout. Also it has an extremely pitched roof, one which is difficult to work on. Simon has been in the painting business for a long time and has seen a lot. He said his team could do it. He also quickly determined that our house had the wrong type of coating and we agreed, we needed more sheen to protect the siding on our home. After helping us choose the right paint it only took 3 weeks to get on the schedule.

Simon sent Oscar and his crew to paint my house and they did a great job! Oscar has been painting for a long time and he knew the first batch of paint was too bright and it would have turned out looking like correction tape was painted on. He alerted me and he picked up the correct paint expediently. They cleaned up thoroughly after the job and there was extremely minimal overspray. Great job guys!

After new roof and gutters, we were looking for a painting contractor to paint our house. We were concerned that there would be overspray on new roof and gutters.
Simon Shin and his crew were very meticulous about taping off and covering gutters and downspouts with NO overspray!! We also had some stucco repairs that were done expertly. There was no mess, no complaints. They were very detailed with their work and went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied.

We just had our entire 5 bedroom home interior painted by Simon Shin's Shine Painting Co and they did an awesome job. We are very impressed! Simon's Crew Chief Oscar and his team were really great . They are hard workers professional and friendly. In addition, they were punctual. They arrived every day exactly on time at 8 am sharp. They prepared the rooms with ground cloths protecting furniture, floors and countertops. And cleaned up quickly at the end of the job leaving the house looking brand spanking new with no mess.

We just had our home painted by Simon's crew. They did an awesome job on our exterior which included a separate enclosed Gazebo. We wanted a change in color and trim and they did a very thorough job, Pressure washed, filled cracks and holes, hammered in louse nails, primed and painted and cleaned up. The house looks like brand new since it had not been painted in 20 years. All appointments were on time and emails and calls were answered quickly. Finished a little ahead of schedule which was great.
