This is our 3rd time using Swift & Gentle since moving to the DC area over 6 years ago. Ranga and team were wonderful - responsive, professional, and on time. During the move, the only piece of missing furniture was a small step stool, and the company reimbursed me for it. Thank you!

I hired Swift & Gentle to move my girlfriends home and that went well although they changed the price at the end from the quote but it was only a $30 difference so I paid. When I was moving myself I used them and they added almost $900 to the initial price after they were done. They lost multiple items and forgot a lot of things which resulted in me paying additional rent at my previous place. They broke important art as well. They tried to discount it but it wasn’t much and I’m still learning about broken or missing pieces.

Gus and his team showed up ON TIME and worked diligently to get me packed up. They were professional and friendly and none of them reeked of cigarettes which I appreciated. They wrapped and protected my furnishings with care! The truck was packed so well, I could have moved more things! Lol

2 of thier divers did a delivery here where i live on june 6 not for me but anyways they hit 4 cars in a company truck penski and ran the seen👹 they hit the 4cars that one car went all the way to the crub… knocked out a fire hydrant they must of been driving fast 2 cars are totaled😢😢 i call them cuz i want answers and they hang up on me. so unprofessional whos hits 4 cars and leaves the seen thiers people that saw you guys. think twice before you get them.

I recently moved across the country and needed movers to take my things the last step, from the shipping containers to my home. I could not be more pleased with the service I received from Swift & Gentle Moving. Not only were Angel, Jose, Faustino, Rom and Fabian quick and careful, they also made sure everything was where I wanted it. When my… washer and dryer wouldn't fit through the oddly small door on my new home, the guys even took the door off to fit it in. They'll do whatever it takes to make you happy. I highly recommend this crew. They're great!

Swift & Gentle Movers went above and beyond to help me move from DC to South Carolina. I was nervous about the move because -get-this- I was going to be out of the country for the actual move. Gus put my mind at ease and promised to keep in touch with photos and texts throughout the moving-day. And he did! It is one thing to be a great moving company when you're being watched, but to be an excellent moving service when no one is around is another. All of my belongings arrived safely.
